Red Carpet Inn Morganton, Morganton

For $50 I wasn't looking for a five star hotel. All I wanted was a clean comfortable room, I got neither. The room was DIRTY, there was a t-shirt and underware hanging on the back of the bathroom door. There was a 1/4 inch wide strip of dirt around the room where the vacuum wondn't reach. The grout in the bathroom had mold on it. The bathroom walls were dirty. The hand sink had no cold water. The hot water had to be set right for it to shut off. The were burn marks on the bedspread and holes in the sheets form burns.The best part was the note asking for a tip. The hot water was anyones guess luke warm or scalding hot. If you are on an adventure trip this may be for you
