Motel 6, Bloomington

My husband and I and our three children arrived after making reservations online. When we got to our room, it wasnt cleaned at all. Lights were still on. Beds were unmade and towels all over the floor. After we complained, they gave us another room and it looked like it wasnt cleaned. As soon as we walked on i started itching. Looked like all the did was made the beds (not with clean blankets either) and folded the dirty towels back up to be reused. Bathroms were filthy and there was even someones nasty fake eyelash on the bathroom floor. NASTY!!! After all that, we could hear everything going on in the other rooms if u know what i mean. My advise, do not go there. youd be better off going next door to Country Hearth Inn. They are about the same price and nicer rooms.

Everything was dirty. the smell was putrid. The sheets, comforters, blankets, drapes, and carpet had stains. the walls were dirty (boogers and other body fluids). So dirty I would not take off my shoes. It is pet friendly, but I wouldn't even put the pet on the floor! asked for a change of linens and they were dirty too!! It truly does not deserve a star!!

The title says it all. Multiple rooms are infested. Management and front desk could care less. A health hazzard that should be closed and fined until they remedy the problem.

This motel well there is nothing good about it. We stayed there July 16 09 the rooms were musty dirty . I even asked them for some air freshener but they had none. One persons door wouldn't shut. WE felt very unsafe. Why is this place still allowed to stay open is beyond me. Believe me avoid this place at all cost. I will never stay here again.

The price quote online was a hoax. The sign read $41.99 and they said the cheapest room was $54. They refused to give us the price that brought us to the motel. The room had a musky odor & flying insects, the bathroom was falling apart, and we woke to find mouse droppings in bed with us in the morning. Either the linens were not changed or we had uninvited guests in our bed. We were up most of the night due to unruly neighbors (some told us they "lived" there). The outside crawl space was half covered with a broken board. Many things make this an unsafe to take children. Upon check out the desk attendant had no comment to our complaints. She didn't get up from her chair. She just looked at us, shrugged her shoulder and told us to put the key on the counter. We just wanted a place to sleep for the night for cheap, but this was not worth $30 let alone $54.

Great value we got 3 rooms 140, 105, 106 two rooms 106 and 140 had not been cleaned. We had to clean toliet before using (hair and urine on underside of toliet seat). Sheets were scary (stains and some hairs on them) (hope they were washed?) Great for the pocketbook didn't pay much didn't get much. Be prepared to clean and disinfect then you won't be disappointed.

Room had a disgusting stench that just would not go away. Housekeeping was of no help, said that there was nothing they can do, didn't even have a can of air freshener. Front desk couldn't do much either, supposedly no other rooms available.

Stayed after a football game. Paid $85.00 for a dirty smelly room. The sink and the showers did not drain, the TV did not work, there were only two small towels for 4 people. No table or clock in the room, the beds were old and worn, the carpet was torn away form one wall and there were way too many flies in the room for November! We had a smoking room becasue that was all that was available, but even for a smoking room, the stench in this room was almost unbearable. We never got used to the smell and everything that had been in the room for more than an hour took on the room stench. We were thinking of burning our clothes when we got home.
