Americas Best Value Inn, Warren

This place is so horrible. Everything there is to dislike about a hotel is here. Tubs won't drain, the floors are dirty and wet, the internet doesn't work a strong portion of the time, the front desk is rude and inept, some of the guests here are a bit shady and scary, and many other issues. The garbage cans which are plentiful outside rooms were constantly filled with garbage. The key cards have to be tried many times to work even after being reset by the front desk. People play loud music outside and walk around. The police came knocking on my hotel door one night about 3:30 AM asking if I had seen an Asian man or woman running around outside!! Also, other issues I heard other guests describe, crumbs on the floor (the front desk wouldn't even give her a broom to sweep them up), black mold growing in the bathroom, and dryers not working in the laundry room. Please, please please stay somewhere else. There is plenty of lodging very close by and also reasonably priced. Ther is a sign in the lobby that says, "No refunds after 15 minutes," which should serve as a warning for people not to stay here!!!

This is one of those hotels that could easily make the top 100 worst hotels in America. Upon check-in, we were told if we wanted our room cleaned, and have clean sheets put on our bed, we would have to pay extra. Also, if we were going to stay more than a few days (we've been here 2 weeks), we could only get clean towels, etc., once a week. The room photos they show on the site don't look anything like the way they really do. The beds are on wood frames, no padding anywhere. Bathrooms are not in very good shape, tubs constantly drip. Also, the ceiling shows signs of leaking: water stains, the poor excuse of the stucco (bad paint job) is peeling in several places. The floor by the sink has water damage, as well. Every time I step on it, it sinks. The Wifi is slower than dial-up internet, which they claim they called to get it fixed, and nothing has been done about it. There is no hot tub on the property, anywhere. Bad repairs, in general. Avoid staying here, at all costs.

This place had very clean rooms. Sheets were clean and the bed was made great. Clean bathroom,but the door didnt latch.The beds were nice size and the room was rather large.The door had 3 locks and it feel safe. Through the night there was sounds we thought was maybe someone drunk knocking on our window,but we never checked. A maid came around 11 and was ready to meet our room needs. Over all it iss a pretty good hotel.

My wife and I stayed plenty of times and everythings is perfect there great customer service......

My family stayed there for two nights and it was pretty nice! I did'nt care for their cable service, but still nice for the price!! Will return.

My wife and I reserved a room for two close friends of ours online. When our friends were on their way, I called the Econo Lodge to make sure everything was all set. The rude girl on the phone said she would not accept my payment for the room saying "I don't know who you are", and "I don't make the rules, I just work here". I explained that I had reserved the room for them online with a credit card, and they would be there any minute. She then said "Why don't you just have them pay?". I told her that I thought it was ridiculous that she would not take my payment for my friends.. then she HUNG up on me. When I called back and asked for her name to report her to management, she said I was "harrassing" her and "stalking" her. I was appalled and extremely frustrated. My friends ended up having to pay for the room to my embarrasement. I drove down there (20 min later) to get them a refund, and pay for the room in person. She offered no apology, and it seemed her whole family was sitting in the lobby hanging around. The next day, my friends mentioned to the same girl that they didn't appreciate them hanging up on me. The girl then told them that I had called and harrassed here "all day long". Unbelievable. My friends also mentioned that there was graffiti on the walls, and the room was in poor condition. Stay away from this Econo Lodge in Warren, Michigan.

I like the staff there they are very friendly and the room's are cleaned daily I staied here a few time's and never have I not been satified
