Room Was Filthy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/5/11
My room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned. There was a long, black hair (not mine) and water marks on the white bathroom counter, as if it had not even been wiped clean from the previous guests. Under the bed I found a pair of filthy slippers from a previous guest. I threw them out. I also found two plastic extension wands for a canister vacuum cleaner. Perhaps the "cleaning" crew left them there. The bed was so disheveled that I thought the sheets may not have been changed. Luckily I brought my own pillow and pillow case. The unfitted bed pad had no straps, and was too small for the mattress. There were 7 or 8 bowtie pasta noodles, wet, on the carpet in the corner by the floor lamp. I was grossed out but was too tired to request a refund or a new room. You get what you pay for, and Knight's Inn is as budget as they come, but gee, is it really so difficult to make a room PRESENTABLE? Is it really so difficult to clean a motel room? The mini-fridge was on the coldest setting 7, so I turned it down to 2 to save energy and to keep it from running all night. Maybe if the "cleaning" crew turned them all down a few notches, they could save enough in electricity costs to afford to buy bed pads that fit the mattress.

Budget Place - so so
By Den, 2/10/11
Stayed one night here in July 2009. Clerk at front desk - probably the manager - was somewhat friendly and helped to answer my questions about the area. Good access to freeway, although you have to travel a mile or two north to find shopping and restaurants. Grounds were somewhat kept, but the motel rooms could use some improvement in their aging condition. There also seemed to be a family or two that was "living there" across the way and created a little noise, but nothing too much out of control. All in all it's not bad, but not great.

good value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/29/06
good value for your moneu except the staff at the front desk - not friendly - just here's your key what's your hurry - no info about times for checkout - they don't listen to you - you ask a question and they just say "yes" even if they don't understand Nice pool and hotel is getting a new roof - even had a fridge and microwave Except for the front staff the hotel is very nice
