I telephoned this hotel from San Francisco at 6:30pm (San Francisco time) September 2, 2004 to reserve a room. I asked for a non-smoking room & wanted to know how many streets is the nearest subway station to the hotel. The person at this hotel did not want to help me reserve a room & did not want to answer any questions. He told me to call the hotel again around 1-3am(San Francisco time).

This is suppose to be a five star hotel. If this is the case, there should be staff available any time day or night (taking into account that travelers may telephone this hotel from anywhere in the world & may not be in this hotel's time zone) to help callers reserve a room & answer any questions.

I did not telephone this hotel again & did not reserve a room.
