Days Inn Lead, Lead

This is a wonderful place to stay! They've got direct access to the local Recreation center, which is great for the kids! Also, they've got a restaurant/ lounge on site- GREAT FOOD! Definately a great place, and great room rates. It's only a mile from Deadwood, and they even have a limo to bring you back and forth! We'll definately make this our place to stay when we're in the Hills!

My ships reunion was held at the resort this past weekend. The staff made sure that we were welcome and well taken care. The rooms were clean, quiet and priced right. Our banquet was held there and the food and service was great and reasonability priced. I personally intend whenever I'm in the area.

I loved it here so much I changed my ongoing travel plans and went back there to stay out the rest of my trip .Some of the the staff in particular became a second family to me . I am making plans to return as soon as possible , I wish I had never left !

Limo Service - Great! Breakfast on Sunday was "OUT OF THIS WORLD!" I would stay here anytime and would recommend to my family and friends!"

We were definitely disappointed with this hotel - they charged us WAY more than the $59.00 listed, the furnishings were very worn and faded, no breakfast and not even kleneex in the rooms. The bathroom didn't have a vanity, just a sink, so no place to put toothbrushes, etc. We went down the road the next night and got a room with a small fridge and microwave, new furnishings, etc for about 1/3 less. The staff was very friendly and the food excellent.

We recently had our wedding guests stay at the Golden Hills, over the Easter Weekend...the staff went out of there way to make our stay stress free, from helping make extra copies of lost keys to just answering our questions the staff was fantastic...the Easter buffet was an excellent deal as well......a great low budget place to stay with great views and a very clean facility... Plus a two dollar ride to Deadwood, with some very colorful drivers!! An extra thank you to our front desk man Jarrod...he was point on and went out of his way to make things right!!

The service was terrible. The rooms were dirty. The YMCA is only open a short while and that facility is not what I expected. The restaurant had good food but again the service was terrible and same with the bar. The lady at the coffee counter was great.

This is truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The food is great, the bar and atmosphere are great (thanks for the non-smoking in Rest) and best of all we had full axcess to the YMCA--which included walking over in an underground tunnel so you don't have to go outside. Once you get to the YMCA you can swim, work out in a huge gym, play racquetball or even walk. Once we returned to the hotel we had the best beds ever followed by great service from the staff. This is truly a resort! You don't have to use your car to get any where the hotel will provide you with shuttle service to Deadwood. I loved the sitting area--and the elevator is wonderful. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very misleading in ads (not a resort!) All the pool and gym facilities are off sit at the local YMCA, with limited hours. Front desk service was missing the service part. No around doing our check in, no around during our check out. (Not as professional as expecting). Staff seems very content setting around with not much regard for anything else. Food and service in the restaurant was not bad, but it was not good. If the property were to honest about what they are, instead of selling themselves as something they are not, my stay may not have been as disappointing. The town of Lead is a great former mining community, and is a very refreshing get away from the more lively Deadwood located just 3 miles to the east (give or take). Hopefully the hotel starts selling what they are not what they are not.

the service was great the people were friendly and the rooms were very clean if anything i think the housekeepers do it all... the restauant was wonderful great prices and great food... keep up the good work and fair prices and we will be back next year.......
