The Quality Inn hotel is conveniently located near several area attractions and local points of interest. This Havelock, NC hotel is less than one mile from the Havelock Tourist & Event Center multipurpose venue. Historic downtown New Bern, home of The Birthplace of Pepsi-Cola store and museum, is just minutes away. Fort Macon State Park, the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, the beautiful Southern Outer Banks region and the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean are all within a 15-minute drive.The surrounding area offers something for everyone. A nearby lake provides an abundance of recreational activities like swimming, boating and fishing. There are a number of restaurants, cocktail lounges and shopping opportunities close by. After a day of exploring, relax with a drink at the on-site lounge.All spacious guest rooms come equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, curved shower rods, hair dryers and cable television. Nice place to stay!

The staff members were wonderful. This is a nice, clean hotel thats worth the money. My first time at Quality Inn but wont be my last. Location wasnt the best but hey, its Havelock, what more can you expect.
 
 
 
 
 
don't stay here

This hotel is gross. I paid $82.00 per night, this is a $53.00 per night hotel type. None of the outside doors works properly. One door wouldn't open with my room key (I had to walk around with luggage, at night, and I'm a female). One outside door at the back of the hotel (not safe) is never locked and another door took several tries to get it open. The door to the pool is always open, it floods there when it rains, the cigarette bin wasn't emptied and was overflowing. Smokers put their cigarette butts on the ground because there was no were else to put them. The bedding appears to be form the 70's. It's awful. The bathroom were gross and the toilet paper roll was even broken. I had to leave the roll on the counter. It was that way when I checked in. I would not reccommend this hotel. There's a Comfort Inn and a Hampton Inn with a comparible rate. I considered moving to one of those properties.
 
 
 
 
 
WOW what a change

This hotel is older but the staff is GREAT. They have the best customer relation skill I have incountered in a longtime. A bellman to greet me at my car upon check-in WOW. Holiday Inn normaly does not offer that. Bags where in my room before I got there. Check in was great. The General Manager had a reception for all the hotel guest nightly at 6pm. He went out of his way to talk to everyone there. Beer, Wine, Soda, water and finger foods where great. I travel a lot and stay in hotels and no other full service Holiday Inn has ever been this great. I will return to this hotel a lot in the next year for business travels. The Lounge is really a great place to relax and the chef they have is awsome with his food. Rooms are new remodel and the new carpet was very nice looking too. This property is remodeling big but i liked it all.
 
 
 
 
 
YUCK

This was THE WORST place i have ever stayed in. The front desk manager was rude and should not be working with people, the secerety in hotel is bad. The outside door did not work to get inside. My room was dirty when i checked in, it looked like someone had just left. the whole hotel needs alot of work! I would never stay in this hotel.

Awful Experience

My husband retirement banquet was planned one year in advance. The manager assured me he had 15 year experience in big functions. Through all of the hard work I put into this the service, and the hospitailty was awful. 1.Their was three waitress to serve 141 adults. 2. I was not informed that the buffet was ready. 3.In order to please our guest, my family and I had to serve the beverages. 4. They ran out of food to early, 5. They did not clear the table after the meal. 6. They did not check and see if the guest needed any assistance. I will not recommend any professional functions be held at this hotel. Awesome best place ever!!!

This place had the most heartwarming staff with an awesome location. the hotel offered many accomidations and led my husband and i to have a wonderful stay!! would love to go to again
 
 
 
 
 
Nothing but problems

I was in a wedding party for my best friend since middle school. We all decided to stay at this Holiday Inn. Everything was fine at the hotel until that night, but then again during the day we weren't there very much. The wedding party all went to the bar that is at the hotel. Things went fine for about an hour until one of the patrons of the bar, bit....yes I said he litterally bit one of the women of the wedding party. Not wanting to cause too much of a scene, we went to the people at the front desk and told them about it, the people at the front desk told the bouncer of the bar and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT!!! The biggest kick in the rear, was that we were all made to leave the bar, since the biter was not made to...and the man wasn't even a guest at the hotel. In my humble opinion, if you value your safety and the safety of your loved ones, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

very bad experience

The front desk informed us that the room we reserved was not available, so we had to settle for another...breakfast way over-priced for the amount.We requested a wake up call, but never recieved one.

Holiday Inn Grudge
