Windjammer Inn, Atlantic Beach

Great room, beautiful views from 5th floor,fantastic prices. We had a wonderful two day stay. We will go back.

they worked me and my son in with short notice for just one night. reaqlly helpful. room was clean. my son loved the shower, the beach was right over the dune on the walkway. the pictures are very true to show.

We loved everything about the Windjammer Inn. When we entered our room the first thing we saw was the spectacular Ocean view. The room was beautiful and clean. My daughter especially loved the shower! I loved being able to sit on our private balcony anytime and watch and listen to the ocean, so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed having a frig. in the room, my only negative comment would be the microwave needed updated. Staff was super great, friendly. I loved the hot tub, hammocks, cabanna everything. The beach was only a few steps away via the walk way. The pictures here are true to form. We can't wait to go again and again and again!

My husband and I stayed at the Windjammer in January 2012 for 2 nights. It was the best place. It was quiet, clean, Just very relaxing. The bathrom was nice with 2 sinks, one in the bath area and one in the outer area. Made it great for getting ready to go out. The staff was friendly from checkin to checkout Th ONLY problem we had was the last night we stayed, the people next to us or above or below were smoking and it just filtered to our room. We had to close our balcony door to keep the smoke scent ou and therefore could not listen to the ocean. This was not the fault of the management of the hotel, it was inconsiderate people who apparantly didn't care or could not read. There were signs CLEARLY marked NO SMOKING. Other than that we could not have been happier with this hotel... better than some nicer rated hotels we have stayd in at Myrtle Beach. can't wait to go back.

My wife and I took our kids to the windjammer for our first vacation and it was great. The room was nice, the pool was great, and the staff was very friendly. I loved that the pier was just a few minute walk away, (but Irene took out that pier). Windjammer is a great place, we will be back

We stayed at the Windjammer for our first family vacation and we are so glad we did. There really wasn't anything we did not like about this place. The room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly. It had a nice pool and jacuzzi and the whole area (in the room, the lobby, the hallways, the outside) was all neat and clean. They also had a little snack bar which was convenient. We originally wanted a room that was not on the first floor, but they were booked up and all we could get was a room on the first floor - but it was actually perfect! We had a door and could walk right out and be at the lagoon and had our own lawn chairs there at our door. And a few steps away was the pool. Which was really convenient with two young kids. My husband was able to get his fishing stuff and go walk to the pier every night to fish. He caught a lot of little sharks and some 'grunts'. The people at the front desk were super nice, and we liked that they gave us extra towels in the lobby to go to the pool or the beach. The bathroom was very nice, marble countertops and a great shower. As you can tell we really liked this place! We took the kids to the Aquarium (which was only a few minutes away) and we also went to Fort Macon and Beaufort. If you are planning a trip to a low-key beach that has a few things to do in the area and want a nice, ocean front hotel that was very well priced - stay at the windjammer! The hotel was perfect! There was 6 in our group. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready. The cleaning service said give them an hour and our room would be ready. When we got back, it was ready. The staff was great--very friendly. The pool was warm and clean. The outside was decorated very nice. It had the home away from home feel. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Can't wait to go back.

My family stay the week of the 4th. We had a great time. The hotel staff were great. We were on the 5th floor and the veiw was beauitful. Our beds were comforterable.. The room was very clean. Our teenage sons had the time of their lives. Of course it may have had something to do with the fact there was no shortage of girls !! We will be going back in 2012. Being that we were ther on the 4th of July it was a great value. The hotel provided beach chairs, to me that was a big plus. I am happy to have found this hotel.

Are you kidding me, this hotel is one of the best places i have stayed at. The staff here is very nice, the rooms are clean, the hot tub and the pool are nice. Not too many kids go to this hotel which makes it nice for couples. Its quiet and not too busy, hopefully they keep the rates up to keep out the jerks. When you go on vacation sometimes you just need a quiet place to go and chill. In 2011 i will make my return for a whole week-saturday to sunday, and will continue to go back until the amount of ppl gets out of hand.

My daughter and I recently spent a couple of days at the Windjammer. Rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable. The view is spectacular. Amenities are great. The pools, hot tub, and umbrellas and chairs for the beach are an added plus. We're already planning to return in August, 2011 for a longer stay.
