A Delightful Piece of Old Historic Santa Fe
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/23/10
My wife and I just spent a week in Santa Fe, NM where we stayed at the Pueblo Bonito B&B, which is within easy walking distance to the Plaza. We were in SF to attend my wife's 55th Santa Fe Hi reunion, so we do know Santa Fe very well.
The Pueblo Bonito grounds and interesting art pieces placed among the bushes and flowerr are all very beautiful. The rooms, or casitas, are quaint and decorated with interesting art works from the Southwest. If you’re looking for a hotel that is truly reminiscent of Old Santa Fe as it once was and not just one more big fancy hotel that once inside you could be in NYC, London, Rome, Tokyo or any other large city of the world then the Pueblo Bonito is definitely your place to stay and relax.
The entire staff was great - from the gracious owners, Herb and Amy, to our new-found friends Phyllis and Strelsa who man the front desk with much friendliness and helpfulness. But watch out for those 4 PM complementary Margaritas – they really do carry a punch.
