Motel 6, Russellville

First, the dead bolt won't secure. Had to put a chair under the handle to secure the door. The smoke alarm would have chirped all night until we silenced it. The shower is tiny and the drain clogged so you were in standing water during the shower. The towels are very low grade and most of them were stained and dirty. The "non-smoking" room stunk. No coffee pot, no fridge, a small outdated TV. Whenever anyone opens/closes a door or walks on the upper level, it shakes the entire building...and most of the people weren't large people at all....just unstable building. A plus? Free Wi-Fi.

A disasterous trip. I'm not a fussy person, but any motel like this that has so many roaches should be shut down. The roaches were in my food that I had put on my bed for 1 hour. Other problem included no air conditioning. I went for a shower in the morning and guess what? No hot water! Give me a break! On top of all this, the room smells like a mixture of cat pee (they accept pets!) and mold. This motel should be shutdown. Judging from all the reviews, i imagine that everyone else that stayed here would agree with me.

the rating is not low enough to accurately describe the nasty conditions, bugs, odors, sounds, etc. i will sleep in my car before i stay in this place!

I was stuck here for 3 nights. Crazy redneck bar next door. Lot of drunk people. Cops were all over waiting to bust people. Not the evironment I was looking for. my advice is to do some searching before you choose a place to stay at. P.S. If you do stay here, look underneath the bed and post what you find in a review. i dont even want to say what i found!

I've stayed at this same motel twice in the last six months and will go back. The room and linnens were clean and fresh, the desk clerk and housekeeper were extremely sweet and very helpful. So, while it's not the Ritz, I feel it did live up to what I expected so I will be back on my next trip. My only suggestion would be for more and bigger towels!

below standards. this is a run down motel 6. other motel 6s have been good in the past. this motel needs to be kept up. we didn't have any hot water, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke. they moved us to another room, but the room they moved us to also smelled like smoke. there was hairy on the pillow case. i can't stay here. the other reviews were right!

Not a bad hotel, but for $10 more I would rather stay at a Super 8 Motel. This hotel has a roach problem and because the walls are thin, I can hear my neighbors making love. You basically get what you pay for here. No microwave and fridge and promised when i made a reservation. I would rather spend $55 at a different hotel.

I come up to Russ-ville 3 times a month and i've tried most of the economical motels. This motel is by far the worst. The price is right, but the quality is low. I'm not trying say that all cheap hotels are as terrible as this one, bc I have stayed at many motel 6 s throughout the country and they have been fine. The room wasn't cleaned out properly, there was trash in the drawers and under the bed. There was top from a beer bottle on the floor, which my 2 year old son always swallowed. This isn't the place to take your children. I would return here if I came alone, but i won't return with my family due to the lack of safety and sanitation.

Like all hotels, there are some good things and some bad things. I found that the bad things overtook the good things in this case. The good things: close to interstate, easy to find, and cheap (under $60). Bad things: room was filthy (I usually don't use the word filthy, but this hotel really won the prize), flies in the room, frozen sausage in the fridge, and a dirty bathroom. I felt unsafe with the weird people walking around and yelling in the late hours of the night. I had heard bad things about this place, but never believed them until I experienced them for myself! I moved to Hampton Inn for the second night of my trip, which was so much nicer and much more in cost.

I was suprised by the lack of standards this motel has. I won't stay here again, as there are plenty of hotels down the road for the same cost in this city. We had made reservations without first reading the reviews about this motel, which was a huge mistake! We were sleeping at around 11pm and we were woken up by a woman who needed money for gas to drive to Ft Smith. From the way she looked, I figured she was a druggie. My wife fell for her story and actually gave her $5. In the morning we found that 2 cars had been broken into (not ours - thank god!).
