Mark III Motel, Seaside Heights

THE OWNERS ARE VERY VERY NICE PEOPLE AND APPRECIATED US TELLING THEM ABOUT ANY PROBLEM WE HAD AND IMMEDIATELY TRIED TO SOLVE OR COMPENSATE ... WE STAYED HERE LAST MINUTE AND IT WASNT THAT BAD! iT IS AN OLDER PLACE IN A KNOWN PARTY TOWN FREQUENTED BY MOSTLY PEOPLE IN THIER TWENTIES... IF YOU WANT THE RITZ..... THEN DONT GO TO SEASIDE NJ AREA TO START WITH!

looked nice online. bathroom deplorable! I would not allow my grandchildren to take a bath. Bathroom was not large enough to get to the head of the tub. If I was able to get another hotel, I would have checked out. Beds were converted waterbed frames. Mattress on top with no box spring. Continental breakfast started at 10am, what a joke. Stayed many places thru out the country and this was the worst I have ever seen

This place looked nice online but when u get there it is gross. It smells really bad and there was a bed bug on my sisters bear. There people were rude as anything. We payed and when we wanted to leave they wouldn't give us our money back. Dont ever stay here

My husband and I and our son went here last year and it was great!!! Not crowded, families were friendly. Owners were great and very helpful. Had fun with their 2 dogs that like to hang by the pool. FOr the people who complained about the small pool, they have a big pool next door that you can use and it is huge. We preferred the small pool because it was cozy, they played music and my son liked it better. Cant wait to go back there this year. And for the pizza party on Wednesday, it was fun, the greedy people from the next hotel came and were taking whole pies back to their hotel which they werent supposed to do it was only for the Mark 3 hotel. But the owners were so nice, they bought more pizza so we all could get some. They were awesome and very nice to talk to. Also great walking distance to beach & restaurants. DONT EAT AT THE BOARDWALK! There is a great irish pub close by that we loved going to and they even let my son watch his wrestling on one of the tv's. Great food there also. Brooklyn couple.

I think the people that run this motel are GREAT!!!! They help us with all the sites to see in Seaside. The rooms were clean and the place was Neat.I liked their dogs too.Every one go visit george ane Alice and see what i mean. L. McMickens Huntingdon,PA

Stayed here for a few nights and had a great time. Yes the pool is small and the rooms are old, but you get what you pay for. We have a dog and it was great to have her on vacation with us. The place is in within walking distance of the beach, the boardwalk, good bars, good restaurants and stores. It could have been cleaner (we spent the weekend having to walk past doggie poo smashed into the parking lot near the area dogs do thier business) Our rooms were clean of anything that you would think a "pet friendly" hotel might have and they smelled fresh but we chose to give everything a wipe down anyway. Its true there is a towel shortage but we didn't bother to complain (like i said you get what you pay for) The staff (the family) was very friendly to us and it was amusing watching the son stop a car full of 20 somethings trying to leave the parking lot so he could hand them the trash they had just thrown on the ground. We stayed in a room without the extended balcony and it was fine, but its worth the extra 10 bucks a night to have a table and chairs outside your room. Thier late check-out is unique, you do have to pay $40 extra, but its until 6:00 PM! This adds another beach day on a short or long weekend trip. We usually try to stay in modern hotels that are very clean and have more up to date amenities, but if you have a dog that you want to spend a weekend at the shore with - Then this is your place!

I was about to book a room at this place, but once you speak to these people forget it. They need to learn manners and maybe be a little more proffesional.
