Lack of attention

We made reservations and agreed to a price. We checked in and got a room for a disabled person, peep hole at my waist, small bed and shower trickled, but we had plenty of bars to hang on to if we fell. I complained to the front desk and the young lady didn't seem to know it was a room for disabled people. You would think if there was a fire they would know which rooms may have disabled people. She didn't offer to change the room or for that matter, make any comment. When we checked out I told the young man at the desk and he had no comment either??? Then when I got home, my confirmation came in the mail, with the wrong charges. I called today after my stay this past weekend, spoke with a different young lady in the reservation dept and she didn't seem to care that the rate was wrong. I asked for a manager or someone that cared and she gave me the GM. He did listen to my issues, he seemed surprised that no one acknowledged my them. I wasn't asking for anything for free.
Don't get me wrong, the hotel was very nice and quaint. The location was excellent. I just feel they need some type of training to deal with complaints. I wasn't aggressive enough maybe to polite in my complaint about the room.
