Best deal we've ever had on Maui. 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units are available, all right on the ocean. Fully-stocked kitchens make it convenient to eat in whenever you want. Gas grills by pool and on roof make cooking outside easy, and people gather on the rooftop each night to blow conch shells at sunset. Nice pool, restaurant on main floor. NOT wheelchair-friendly, with steps on every floor except the first floor. If you need wheelchair access, stay in units X09-X18, as they are on the same level as the elevators (no steps). In season, watch the whales from your own lanai. Disclaimer: my wife and I own a condo there, after having stayed there twice. Units are individually-owned, so make sure you book an updated unit. Some have TVs in the bedrooms, all have at least one color TV with cable in the living room. The lack of air conditioning has never bothered us, as the trade winds are reliable every afternoon (you'll see lots of windsurfers). I have been told that August can be pretty warm, and others have said they love it there in August, go figure.
