Cinderella Motel, Hollister

My mother is from Hollister. We have attended the annual San Benito County Fair for over 50 years. We have always stayed here. The Manager couldn't be nicer. She saves doughnuts for us, as another group that attends annually are hearty eaters. We have always been able to get extra towels, and bring the dogs. We will continue to use this slice of Americana as long as able.

Never stay at this creepy hotel!!! When we went to check in after driving for 3 hours, they didn't have a record of our reservation and said anyone who didn't show up by 6, their reservation was automatically canceled. The woman who seems to be some sort of live-in owner/manager was totally rude and gross and her husband was equally so. I don't think they'd ever even heard of the term 'customer service.' My boss called to see what the problem was (even though he was three states away and it was late on a Friday night), and they screamed at him, "WE DON'T CARE!!" I should have known something would go wrong given the creepy lobby and the obsession with Cinderella (plates, dolls, nick-nacks) that goes way beyond healthy or cute.

We were in need of a place to stay in hollister while conducting some buisness. The lady that runs the motel was top notch she runs a safe buisness. we spent two nights and enjoyed our stay. Jerrys cafe is across the street and serves a great meal. I would stay there agian.

First off I was a resident there in Hollister for 23yrs. When I do go up that way now to stay, I have been treated with such rude and nasty behavior from the owner or desk clerk..they overcharge, have poor customer service and if you try and ask for some towels, they threaten to kick you out w/o any refund....I would never recommend this motel to anyone. If anything, they need to get rid of the help and bring someone in there with better customer services. Linda-Palm Springs, CA

I went to check in and I saw a bunch of motorcycles. I was thinking to myself "oh great party time. Those folks were suprisingly quite. I tip my hat to the owner for keeping a clean quiet motel.The motel dosent offer any "room service" But they run a clean quite motel.

I am a contractor and work in the area often. I have driven by the motel many times but never stayed. One night I was too tired to drive home so I checked in to the motel. I read the rules posted and I was like "WHAT EVER" I got my key went to the room and I thought I was gonna have to chase off bugs or see dirty stained carpet like another yahoo user reviwed. I was SHOCKED the rooms are very clean and very well done.I will defenitly stay here again.

I would have just given this motel a mere 4 stars but then I had to consider that it was the cheapest one that I had picked when calling around. I was not expecting much really, probably even an unattentive staff and rooms not up to par because of the low price, boy was I surprised. The place is not perfect but maybe that is part of what charming is. The room was hand decorated and the front office had an impressive collection of Cinderella dolls in it. Very cute, just like the couple that was running the place. Maybe it was just good chemistry, but if you are down to earth and sensible/thrifty and you don't like the feel and decor of cheap and ugly chain motels, this place should work out for you too. This was the kind of surprise that you would wish all surprises would be like, well most.

Attitude and Personality is tops.I rode in to get my Corbin seat. A person @ Corbin told me to giver a try . Im not sorry I did, the staff treated me with Upmost courtsy. I would stay here again.

The price was right. It was a visit to the past as far as decor. Theme room was simple. I couldn't get the heat on but otherwise fine. No amenities but owner is a kind dog-rescuing woman and this place is pet friendly. Nice clean area and close to fast food. Will definitely stay again.

Among the several motels and hotels in the area, the Cinderella Motel stands out as one of the best for the price. It is a low-cost motel, charging $45.00 per night, and it has no room service. What it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in cleanliness, quiet and security. The rooms are very clean and are maintained every day. No bugs can be found. It is fairly quiet; raucous parties and loud arguments are not tolerated as they are at certain other motels in the area. The managers watch the motel and the parking area and are well-known among the bad guys for their intolerance of criminal behaviour. Each room has a unique theme, from Cinderella, to Jungle, to a seaside theme, et cetera. Some people who frequently stay there tend to rent the same room every time. This is not a motel for the spoiled! There is no concierge, no room service and little else beyond what's in the room--just a clean pool and an ice machine. Overall, it is a great place to just doss down for a night or three, without someone bothering you for this or that. The motel is booked full during the Hollister INdependence Rally around the 4th of July, with many bikers taking the rooms in advance of the rally. Otherwise it is not too often full.
