Creepyelle motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/09
My boyfriend and I stayed here one night, the clerk was VERY rude and seemed mad that we were even there, she acted like, just because we were young, we were going to go there and party or something. Sign said 45 dollars but she charged us 59 and didnt have a reasonable answer to why. In the morning before we left, she was standing outside of our door basically waiting for us to leave. My boyfriend left something in the room and asked to go back in really quick and she was very rude about it and was already talking about us to another lady to worked there right in front of us while we were walking to our car.. NEVER staying there again. And the rooms are CREEPYYYYY.

A very good night Sleep
By Marisa C, 08/17/08
This is the second time I stayed in this motel. The lady at the front desk did look a bit annoyed when we checked in on a Monday night at 11 pm. But the next day when I went in to pay for another night she was very cheerful. She was telling me stories of her huge family. We stayed in the Cinderella Room. My daughters loved it. We even took pictures of it. The room was very clean. It had all the amenities we needed for the good night sleep. The room even had internet access which was a great help. I will definetly stay here again. I will recommend it to my friends and family if they are ever in the area.

This was everything I wanted in a motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/03/08
I was in Hollister for a Dog Show so to stay at a dog friendly motel that is one story was the best. I had the most darling room with a Bahama type theme. Rattan table with metal chairs. Rattan on the bathroom door and headboard of bead. A rattan ceiling fan which helped with the heat. Pictures of McCaw parrots and palm trees. Even the end tables by the sides of the bed have colorful ceramic flowers a parrot bases. TV had a good reception and cable. The ice machine had a non stop quanity of good ice. The management was pleasant and the price was right. Thank you Cinderella Motel. Beth

Charming? NOT!
By 5150judy, 04/06/08
I had to go to Hollister for business and searched for some place to stay - discovered the choices are few. I read the other reviews which were mostly favorable. I like nostalgia as well as the next person but this was horrible starting with the rude clerk (who was not the owner - I asked). The collection of Cinderellas COULD have been a nice touch but they looked like they belonged to Chuckie! The room was creepy & dingy - how could you tell if it was clean? One light bulb out of 4 in the bathroom worked. Nothing matched - towels were all dingy (gold bath, blue washcloths, pink hand towels & maroon AND frayed tub mat). It looked like someone had emptied a paint brush full of paint on the bathroom door but then decided not to paint it! TV remote had no backing; the batteries were taped on making if difficult to work; AND THEN the TV turned itself on in the middle of the night! Think Bates Motel~

Annual family hang out
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/09/08
My mother is from Hollister. We have attended the annual San Benito County Fair for over 50 years. We have always stayed here. The Manager couldn't be nicer. She saves doughnuts for us, as another group that attends annually are hearty eaters. We have always been able to get extra towels, and bring the dogs. We will continue to use this slice of Americana as long as able.

Horrific
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/07
Never stay at this creepy hotel!!! When we went to check in after driving for 3 hours, they didn't have a record of our reservation and said anyone who didn't show up by 6, their reservation was automatically canceled. The woman who seems to be some sort of live-in owner/manager was totally rude and gross and her husband was equally so. I don't think they'd ever even heard of the term 'customer service.' My boss called to see what the problem was (even though he was three states away and it was late on a Friday night), and they screamed at him, "WE DON'T CARE!!" I should have known something would go wrong given the creepy lobby and the obsession with Cinderella (plates, dolls, nick-nacks) that goes way beyond healthy or cute.

We were in need of a place to stay in hollister while conducting some buisness. The lady that runs the motel was top notch she runs a safe buisness. we spent two nights and enjoyed our stay. Jerrys cafe is across the street and serves a great meal. I would stay there agian.

Such Nastiness From Owner
By Lynn or Green Eyes, 04/24/07
First off I was a resident there in Hollister for 23yrs. When I do go up that way now to stay, I have been treated with such rude and nasty behavior from the owner or desk clerk..they overcharge, have poor customer service and if you try and ask for some towels, they threaten to kick you out w/o any refund....I would never recommend this motel to anyone. If anything, they need to get rid of the help and bring someone in there with better customer services. Linda-Palm Springs, CA

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/25/07
I went to check in and I saw a bunch of motorcycles. I was thinking to myself "oh great party time. Those folks were suprisingly quite. I tip my hat to the owner for keeping a clean quiet motel. The motel dosent offer any "room service" But they run a clean quite motel.

Boy was I suprised
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/25/07
I am a contractor and work in the area often. I have driven by the motel many times but never stayed. One night I was too tired to drive home so I checked in to the motel. I read the rules posted and I was like "WHAT EVER" I got my key went to the room and I thought I was gonna have to chase off bugs or see dirty stained carpet like another yahoo user reviwed. I was SHOCKED the rooms are very clean and very well done.I will defenitly stay here again.
