Glad we left
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/11
The Motel it self looked very cute and clean. In fact the room we looked at was very nice and at a good price, too bad the woman running the place was soooo rude. 1st thing we asked if she had a room with 2 beds open for the night. She answered very rudely, then we asked to look at it, againg she was even more rude and whaen we asked the price....well that wasthe straw that broke the camels back we just left and went down the road to the Hollister Inn and stayed there. they were very friendly and the room was great. A little more maybe but well worth it.

EXTREMELY ACCOMIDATING!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/21/11
I trucked my motorcycle down from Canada to find the sun. I thought I might have trouble finding a safe place to leave my truck while I continued down the coast by bike. That was until I walked into the Cinderella Motel. The lady at the front desk not only assured me that I was welcome to leave it there, and she also spent at least a half hour advising me what not to miss going down the coast. The room she gave me was called "The Presidents Room" and was outfitted with a kingsize bed and a refridgerator. It was clean, comfortable and quiet---all this for 45 bucks--wow! A week later, I was back, and was welcomed like a long lost friend. Got my same room, loaded my truck and sadly left the next morning.

So great I stayed another night!
By Veronica, 9/15/10
I rolled into this hotel late at night looking for a cheap place to crash. The lobby was fixed with a cinderella theme with dolls everywhere.. Okay, I'm a young 25 year old guy. A bit of an odd place for me to stay, but I continued to ask about the rooms. The lady working the desk was very friendly and we talked for a bit before I buckled down and got a room. The rooms are very cheap, but you get so much more than what you pay for! I walked into the room and found huge mickey mouse ears painted on the walls over the twin beds, and the rest of the room was decorated with a red black and white theme as well. They were clean, and pleasing to the eye. The bathroom did look like it had seen some use over the years, but also looked like it was in the process of being fixed back up! New tiles in the bathroom covered the walls, and floor of the sleeping area, and the water was hot! Just what I needed. I slept so good on the bed that stayed another night! I've been on the road for 3 months, and traveled 14k miles so I think i know a thing or two about hotels. This was a good deal and delivered everything I was expecting, and more. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, when for the same price, most hotels will only let you stay 1. I'm not sure what the some peoples problem was, but I didn't have an experience like that at all! Perhaps they went in with an attitude and was given one? Remember.. this is a small town, and workers are people too. Treat people like you'd want to be treated, and you'll enjoy life more!

Very Comfortable!!!
By Veronica, 9/14/10
Our room was very clean and tidy, everything from the towels in the bathroom to the blankets and shheets on the bed matched. I am not too sure about the customer service because my husband dealt with the people in the front office, but I felt very comfortable and would definetly return if i was ever in the area.

Creepyelle motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/17/09
My boyfriend and I stayed here one night, the clerk was VERY rude and seemed mad that we were even there, she acted like, just because we were young, we were going to go there and party or something. Sign said 45 dollars but she charged us 59 and didnt have a reasonable answer to why. In the morning before we left, she was standing outside of our door basically waiting for us to leave. My boyfriend left something in the room and asked to go back in really quick and she was very rude about it and was already talking about us to another lady to worked there right in front of us while we were walking to our car.. NEVER staying there again. And the rooms are CREEPYYYYY.

A very good night Sleep
By Marisa C, 8/17/08
This is the second time I stayed in this motel. The lady at the front desk did look a bit annoyed when we checked in on a Monday night at 11 pm. But the next day when I went in to pay for another night she was very cheerful. She was telling me stories of her huge family. We stayed in the Cinderella Room. My daughters loved it. We even took pictures of it. The room was very clean. It had all the amenities we needed for the good night sleep. The room even had internet access which was a great help. I will definetly stay here again. I will recommend it to my friends and family if they are ever in the area.

This was everything I wanted in a motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/3/08
I was in Hollister for a Dog Show so to stay at a dog friendly motel that is one story was the best. I had the most darling room with a Bahama type theme. Rattan table with metal chairs. Rattan on the bathroom door and headboard of bead. A rattan ceiling fan which helped with the heat. Pictures of McCaw parrots and palm trees. Even the end tables by the sides of the bed have colorful ceramic flowers a parrot bases. TV had a good reception and cable. The ice machine had a non stop quanity of good ice. The management was pleasant and the price was right. Thank you Cinderella Motel. Beth

Charming? NOT!
By 5150judy, 4/6/08
I had to go to Hollister for business and searched for some place to stay - discovered the choices are few. I read the other reviews which were mostly favorable. I like nostalgia as well as the next person but this was horrible starting with the rude clerk (who was not the owner - I asked). The collection of Cinderellas COULD have been a nice touch but they looked like they belonged to Chuckie! The room was creepy & dingy - how could you tell if it was clean? One light bulb out of 4 in the bathroom worked. Nothing matched - towels were all dingy (gold bath, blue washcloths, pink hand towels & maroon AND frayed tub mat). It looked like someone had emptied a paint brush full of paint on the bathroom door but then decided not to paint it! TV remote had no backing; the batteries were taped on making if difficult to work; AND THEN the TV turned itself on in the middle of the night! Think Bates Motel~

Annual family hang out
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/9/08
My mother is from Hollister. We have attended the annual San Benito County Fair for over 50 years. We have always stayed here. The Manager couldn't be nicer. She saves doughnuts for us, as another group that attends annually are hearty eaters. We have always been able to get extra towels, and bring the dogs. We will continue to use this slice of Americana as long as able.
