Napa Old World Inn Bed & Breakfast, Napa

If you are allergic to mold or have any breathing issues, do NOT stay at the Olde World Inn! You will be sick! Not as portrayed on other reviews, not sure who is writing them, must be the Inn. Very sad, ruined our trip to Napa. Beware! Book elsewheree!!!!!!

The bathroom curtains were too long next to the tub and they were moldy. The jacuzi in the tub did not work nor did the fireplace. The room was filled with light from the parking lot and the air conditioning vent blows on your head above the bed. The neighborhood is run down with a view of Safeway across the street and a broken cement parking lot. Attention to detail is lacking to say the least. I think this place might have been great at one time but it's not now.

The Old World Inn Serves it up Old World style! Upon arrival we were greeted and given a tour of the Inn. Once we got up to our room (Allegria) we were very delighted by the room's decor and warmth that it offered. The bed was so comfortable that we fell fast asleep within minutes of laying down. In the morning the breakfast was set up in the dining room and served with a wonderful presentation. The other guests that came down for breakfast were wonderful too. The atmosphere was truly wonderful like a bunch of friends gathering for a meal. This was my 1st B&B and I truly enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for giving us a peaceful, romantic encounter.

This is our first stay at a bed & breakfast and this place has exceeded our expectations. We usually stay at hotels but thought that this would be a nice change. The service is excellent and we were made welcome by the extremely nice & knowledgable staff (Vic & Christine). Vic was able to recommend an excellent restaurant for dinner, Celadon, which was really good. The chocolates when we arrived back from dinner was amazing and we were able to relax and enjoy the rest of our night in the cottage in the back. The whole experience was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again. I will also recommend this place to all my friends. It's a definite must stay place!

We came to Old World Inn by way of Oprah. Well, not exactly, but our friend told us it was recommended by her. We felt reassured and upon arrival we were excited by the exquisite service and offerings. Our hosts reached out to us on a daily basis to make sure our needs were met. From wine tastings to dinner reservations and suggestions. Our room was the Secret Garden, which offers a vast side room with a two person jacuzzi. After spending our days visiting Napa, Calistoga, and surrounding areas it was so great to come back to Old World Inn for wine and cheese every night. The combination of a delectable breakfast, weather served in our room or in the dinning room; the service which created a great experience, or opportunity to relax after a hard day makes Old World Inn my #1 choice in Napa

Thank you so much for your review of your stay at the Old World Inn. Your review is below: Our World at the Old World Inn We wanted to share our experience at Old World Inn with you. From the moment we arrived we were warmly received and felt that the staff was genuinely excited to welcome us and experience Napa through their eyes. The rooms at the Inn were very nice and we really enjoyed the common areas when we weren't out and about. The beautiful dining room is where we joined the other guests and experienced the most beautiful hot breakfast, cooked by one of the innkeeper (who are also chefs) of breakfast souffle with tomato relish, home made mini-muffins, fresh fruit and French pressed coffee. We mentioned in passing that we would not be at breakfast the morning we left due to an early flight and the innkeeper on-site offered to package it up and put them in the refrigerator for the next morning. There is also an area outside where you can enjoy the Napa weather and if it becomes chilly, enjoy a log in the fire pit while partaking in the evening horderves and offered wines (we thought the wines were really good). You can have as much privacy as you like or as little. We really enjoyed meeting some of the other people visiting the Inn. They appeared to be enjoying the experience as much as we were. We asked for and received numerous recommendations as far as restaurants in the area as well as wineries/vineyards to visit that were specific to our tastes. All of the recommendations were a hit and appeared to be effortless by our hosts/hostess. They also knew the restaurants that required reservations (their hand was on the phone making them before you even asked for them to) as well as personal references to ask for when you visited some of the tasting rooms. All in all, we would recommend Old World Inn to anyone and enjoyed every minute of our visit. We hope to see you again.

We had plans to attend a family wedding here in Napa and decided to stay the weekend. We made reservations weeks in advance and were excited for a brief vacation. The day before the wedding I realized there was a problem with our original reservation (with a different B&B) and we now had nowhere to stay. I left work early and went online to find another place. After reading some reviews and looking at prices the Old World Inn seemed like the best deal. The day of the wedding was stressful, but once we checked in and Vic showed us around the house, offered us a glass of wine and gave us a shortcut to the ceremony location, things calmed down and the beginning of a very enjoyable relaxing weekend began. The jacuzzi bath, gourmet breakfasts, and sweet sleep king size beds were what we needed. Now we have a good reason to come back to Napa even without a wedding to attend.

Six friends stayed at the Old Worl Inn. This Inn is very overpriced. Our rooms were across the street and not in the main house. The ammenieties were to be the same. What we read on line, and what we experienced were quitedifferent. The beds were great but the breakfast was oatmeal or what appeared to be frozen dish. The dried philo dough covered some type of eggs. We asked for fresh fruit the day after we arrived because the same black banana and half of cookie remained as a snack from the time we checked in until the nextafternoon when we requested fresh Imagine $350-$400 per night and no ice. We were told the owner didn't want to purchase an ice maker. Infused picthers of water were out for a long time without ice. The water was warm.Way OverPriced

I am fortunate to be blessed with good health, a good family and very good girlfriends. They brought me on a surprise "50-something" (ok, 55) birthday trip to the Old World Inn in Napa. Not only will the adventures and good times we've had hot air ballooning, riding the wine train and visiting local vineyards remain with me forever, but my visit and stay at Old World Inn will be a coveted memory as well. The food and accomodations are outstanding, as is the staff. When I count my blessings before I pass off this earth, this trip will be 1 of the top 10! Thanks so much!
