I found my room and bathroom VERY clean; my experience was different from the previous review. It's downtown so the street can be noisy, but that's not the motel's fault. I really liked having the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The people who run the motel were very friendly and accommodating. I visit Sacramento every couple of years or so and stay here each time. I also asked for a non-smoking room and it smelled fine. I found it a very good value. Swanky, no. Inexpensive, convenient and friendly proprietors? Yes.
