We had a good time!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/09
My niece and I stayed for three nights while we explored Glacier National Park. The cottage had two beds separated by the small bathroom, to provide a bit of privacy. It was clean and pleasant, bug free and quiet. The staff is helpful, they lent us a hair dryer and coffee maker, and gave great tourism advice. The cottage stayed cool in the hot weather, has a wall heater for cold nights, and nice warm blankets. The only negatives were a very low-pressure shower, lack of hanging space for clothes and limited TV channels. I compared our accomodations to those at Glacier Park Lodge, and Jacobsen's Cottages are almost as nice and 1/3 the price. You can visit the Lodge and eat there for the money you save. We would go back in a minute!

Loved it here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/08
We actually stayed at a 2-bedroom house near the cottages that Suzanne manages for the owner. It was fabulous and Suzanne and her family took great care of us. We were able to cook most of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen. It was very convenient as we visited different areas of the park each day and were close enough to go back to the house each night. Highly recommend Jacobson's Cottages!!! We'd stay there again in a heartbeat! We stayed for 7 nights/8 days, very comfortable, very clean, very affordable.

Very Well Kept
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/06
The owner was very helpful in answering our questions, recommending restaurants, etc. There were a lot of little details that made this an excellent stay. The sheets and pillow cases were not white. The towells were red and white. The drive in was lit with little lights to help when returning at night. Overall the stay was very pleasant, and this was due mostly to the efforts of the staff and owner. I would recommend it highly to any one.

"Highly Recommended for Eastern-side of GLACIER NP"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/06
Jacobson's Cottages is a wonderful location to stay. We rented a kitchen unit and another cottage for our Family for a 5-day stay. As advertised, the units are exceptionally clean. They were comfortable. And the cottages are located right between a small grove of trees. The owner/manager -- Suzanne -- will make you feel right at home! This was our 3rd trip to Glacier NP (from Los Angeles), but our first time staying at Jacobson's Cottages. We definitely intend to return & stay here again! I believe East Glacier (near Two Medicine) [or possibly, St. Mary] provide the best "staging areas" for seeing the many spread-out sights in Glacier National Park (which does require extensive driving). Liked: kitchen facility; cleanliness, wooded, location in Glacier NP Disliked: no phone (minor inconvenience) Tips/Secrets: be prepared for extensive driving, but GLACIER NP is our favorite (and we've been to many)

Our Honeymoon & Annverisary get-a-way!
By Tammy Tokas, 01/23/06
We spent both our honeymoon and 10th annverisary at the cottages...In ten years, the improvement were well made...and a nice place to stay...it isn't the Ritz or Holiday Inn...but Glacier park and not roughing it...this is the place.

Nice experience! Good Value!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/05
We had a pleasant and clean cottage here for 2 days. Cottages are separate units. These are quite old but in perfect condition. No dirt, no cracked tiles, etc. Very well maintained. We had two queen size beds, a table and three chairs, good bathroom, good lighting and electrical outlets everywhere you look. TV OK with about 17 stations. Located 1/2 mile from the Glacier Park Lodge and the Amtrack station. Almost one hour drive to St. Mary. State Rd 464 at Browning is fast way to get to Many Lakes or Canada if you are daytripping there. Plenty of small local eating places or go to the Glacier Park Lodge for Buffet Breakfast. Paid $64 per day for our cottage. Old Glacier Jammer Bus tours availbable 1/2 mile away so you don't have to drive if you don't want to.

A Little Bit of Heaven!!!
By celeste, 08/21/05
My husband and I spent three wonderful days in Glacier Park, along with two other couples. We stayed at these cottages and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. We liked everything about these lodgings. The first night there, we all sat out in front of the cottages, drinking champagne. It was delightfu, so serene!! If we're ever able to return to the Park, we shall stay there again! Thank you!!! Celeste Jimenez

Comfortable and Affordable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/05
We were very impressed with the overall cleanliness of not just our room but the grounds as well. The care and concern for their guest is shown in this family owned/operated facilities. I would definitely recommend Jacobson Cottages and look forward to returning in the future.

Very Quaint and Clean
By Kathleen e, 06/17/04
The locale is perfect, nice little restaurants around East Glacier. Not the Ritz but if you want a clean place to come to after a long day hiking this is the place to be. We had a double cottage which was spacious with a nice remodeled bathroom with great soft towels. I plan on going back in a year or two and plan to use Jacobson's as my place of respite.
