Dirty shower
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/09
First of all I had room 123. It not only had, only handy cap parking on the whole side of the hotel but when we got in out hotel room it smelled awful. The shower had dirt on the bottom of it. You could even rub it off with towel. Thats how filthy it was. There were ashes rubbed into one of the pillows, and there was hair in the sheets. I will never ever stay in this motel or any Motel 6 again.

I would like to say I am there often and the staff and expecially the manager is always friendly and curtious at all times. the rooms I have had have been quite good and I have no complaints.I have had a number of conversations with the manager and being a woman traveling for business alone , I feel quite safe and taken care of. - always a pleasure and I will be back!

Far exceeded our expectations!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/07
We just got back from a week at the Motel 6 in Bellingham and I wanted to let everyone know what a great experience it was. The reason we chose Motel 6 was the price, of course. But everything* and everyone was just wonderful, from Gayle and Janice at the front desk and our housekeeping staff (especially Christopher and Linda)to the clean heated pool, unending ice in the ice machine, and free morning coffee. Please note, we do not need a lot of frills - the free morning coffee is in the lobby along with the microwave, not in the room. Some of you might find this inconvenient, but it worked well - there was always hot coffee available until 10 a.m. as promised. The Motel 6 bedspreads are not fancy but the sheets and towels were clean and white, not stained or ripped. Other notes: They were sprucing up the flower beds when we were there in late July 2007. Noise-wise, there is a highway nearby but we requested a room on the other side of the motel and it was very quiet. I would also like to say that the front desk people always took time to answer questions about how to get around and what to see in town. And the key cards for the door always worked well. In the past we have spent a lot more and got a lot less at other motels. We can highly recommend that you stay at the Motel 6 in Bellingham, Washington. (written by Paul & Nancy) *We had only one problem - the unadjustable phone volume was too loud so you had to hold the receiver away from your ear to listen. The staff said they would see what they could do for future guests.

I was embaressed.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/08/06
The first room we were given had no towels or soap. The sink was very grimy and the beds were ruffled. The next room we were given had the top of the toilet sitting in the shower. There was a waste basket full of water under the shower nozzle. The beds were ruffled and there were no towels. The third room, towels were brought to us. It was too late to go somewhere to pay more to sleep less. I was embaressed to have my family there. We usually tent camp and thought we would go a little nicer. Miss my tent.
