Queen Ann Motel, Oak Harbor

someone recommended me queen Anne motel when i came to spend my vacations from California i used to some parcels from my girl friend, the manger of the motel was so friendly and cooperative they took nice care personally,,,,i really appreciate there hospitality and would like to come back again in my next vacations

The management were very courteous, helpful and extremely nice. The rooms were spacious, very clean and well maintained. It had that homey feel to it. The motel is close to everything, right there in downtown and close to the beach.

this place is NASTY and EXPENSIVE!!!! old smelly and nothing works not even the tv!!!! horrid bed im still iching!!! crap staff. If you are a hoker or drug atticked crack dealer this is your place. if you want to pay less and be in heaven go one block to the acorn motel. this queen anns dump is HELL. NEVER STAY HERE!!!!!! indian staff ripped me off. I was quoted one low price and when I got there I had to put my credit card in a slot I got a key in return. no receipt and when I saw the charge IT WAS THREE TIMES AS MUCH!! I could have stayed at a five star HOTEL for less this place is the WORST flea bag crack whore infested place ive ever been!!!!

The place has potential, nothing fancy but convienent location and adequate accomodations although could be updated without much effort. Main complaint, we were quoted one price when the reservation was made and charged another on arrival. Asked about AAA discount and they said it was included in the "monthly special". Got the impression the people running the place do not share the same ethics as I. Felt like we had been bamboozled. Might want to go up island and check out some of the other accomodations first or, if nothing else, have them put their room rates in writing!

This place is shady,confined,and a bit broken down.

My sister and I were in the area for a week handling during or fathers death. We were pleasently surprised by the cleanliness and space of the rooms. We stayed in #5 and though their internet needs a boost, everything else was great, and their carpets were clean. On our first night there were some kids smoking and hanging out and before we even thought about it, the Manager Glenn was asking them to move off. My sister and i felt safe and comfortable, the beds were clean and pleanty of towels. There is a Nice Restaurant with really good food and they don't skimp on anything. Overall A+ experience for an older motel. Next time we visit, we will be staying there again. Thanks for your Hospitality!

marsha the lady manageing motel was sooooo rude, she tried cheating, us. we called first for a price check ,when we got to the motel, she raised the rate.

Beware of online reviews that say things like "great bargain" or "right next to the best restaurant in Oak Harbor". The same owners own both and, after trying both, I can only guess who wrote that review! Don't go there thinking you are getting a bargain. You are getting a $50 room for $65. It wasn't particularly clean and things like the A/C worked, but you had to crawl on your belly to access it. It's an OK place, but the restaurant is pricey for what you get (my wife cut her pancakes with a knife they were so tough -- $7). Just check AAA and go by what they say . . . it's a $50 room and nothing more.

I loved this motel it was full of surprises!! With a beach right across from the motel and the restaurant it was great! The service was great nice people,clean rooms is mostly what you want and you will definitely get it there. Their was a great heated swimming pool with a hot tub which was relaxing. I stayed in room #16 it was nice and clean and it had all the things you would need a nice kitchen and very spacy.

NOTHING IS CHEAP IN THAT ISLAND,PERSONNEL MADE OUR DAY WONDERFULL FOR LETTING US WAIT IN THEIR PARKING LOT,CAUSE ALL PLACES HAVE NO VACANCY. SHE GAVE US THE ROOM #11 THAT SO VERY COMFORTABLE. WE DIDNT HAVE TO DRIVE TO SEE THE BEST PART OF OAK HARBOR.THE LOCATION IS WHERE RIGHT AVERY VISITOR WANTS TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE.
