Pleasant staff and Pretty Good Motel

To be honest, I am a hotel person (Business Travels), but due to an unexpected cancellation at the Hampton Inn and surrounding hotels were booked, I was so glad to find Rusty Cannon Motel at 1ish in the morning - due to travel delays. To my pleasant suprise, I was very pleased with the motel (staff and room). They had a microwave, refrigerator, fresh/fluffy towels, and a clean spacious room not to mention a quick grab and go breakfast (something that fits my life style). Rusty Cannon Motel - Thanks for your great service and pleasant stay.

Better than the LaQuinta in Rifle

The staff was usually friendly, and I stayed here several times as I did contract work in Rifle. The place is old, and I once found holes in the bedspread, and some rooms needed a paint job. The biggest problem is with the place is the number of oil and gas workers who stay there and litter the place with booze bottles, and tend to trash the place. Parking can be difficult due to their large vehicles. I am 64 yrs old, and have stayed at many motels/hotels in several countries. The worst ever was the La Quinta in Rifle - don't ever go there! Ever!

Great Place.

Love the place, Great service... Great location. Quite.. Easy way to get on the express way Great family envioroment. Great service, treat you like family not like guest. I will go back and stay here.

Good place to stay

Queit place to stay. Close to town. Freindly staff. A recommended stay for any traveler. Good sized rooms. Located close To I-70. Next to Mcdonalds, Burger King Subway and Dominoes Pizza. Two differnt gas stations. Decently priced.
