The Aurelia Residence San Pietro is situated at 145 Via Aurelia - one of the oldest Roman roads - in the heart of Rome, a stone's throw from the Vatican City. Walk a few metres of the old road and reach Saint Peter's Basilica, the Audience Hall of Paul VI, the Auditorium S. Cecilia along Via della Conciliazione and the Tunnel, which leads you to Corso Vittorio Emanuele and hence to the historical and commercial city centre. The Apartment hotel, composed of, 25 apartments, in different sizes, elegantly refurbished and equipped with every comfort, is located in a modern residential development surrounded by vegetation and built by the owners around the mid-Seventies. The development is divided into two blocks, named 'A' 'Raffaello' and 'E' 'Michelangelo'. The Michelangelo block houses the medium- and large-size apartments, the Reception, the Club House- where the guests can enjoy a lavish buffet breakfast - and the balcony, offering a view of the magnificent dome by Michelangelo. The Raffaello block, more secluded, houses the smaller-size apartments. A garage with 25 car parking lots is situated in the basement, with entrance from no. 141 Via Aurelia.

Very Nice Place!
By Eric, 07/09/06
I have stayed at the Mountain Inn often, and must say the non-pet rooms are very important to me as I have allergies to pet hair. I know the staff there works very hard to make sure guest do not sneak there pets into the rooms. The place is well run and the rooms are clean. The indoor pool is a very nice upgrade to the outdoor pool they had in the past. The place is within walking distance of the old and charming downtown area.

Spartan but Clean
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/06
This is a basic needs place. Rooms were very spartan with rustic wood furniture and a hot water radiating heater. Bathrooms needed remodeling. Everything seemed to be very clean though and staff was friendly. Better than most in it's 1 star class. It has a surprisingly nice indoor pool. Not bad for the money.

dihonest people, despite independent charm
By andrew, 01/30/06
Note, I tend to prefer independent places, rather than the consistency but boredom of chains, whether it's motels or stores. So I really wanted to like this place. But from the disorganized front desk, to the wait to check in, to the breakfast that was already gone by 7:30 a.m., we did not have a good experience. Even the hot tub was low on water. The worst part about it was there was a miscommunication between one of their regular travel agents and the motel, and I understand how these things happen. But after our stay, and upon trying to resolve it, the motel management absolutely manufactured dishonest, completely false stories about our stay. Unbelievable. Save your money, grief, and avoid the stress and stay at the super 8 a few blocks away. We did a later night, and had a much better stay, with better hot tub and plentiful breakfast.

We will not stay here again.
By Stef, 01/29/06
The Mountain Inn at Georgetown, CO would be a nice place to stay if you do not have pets. We had 2 little mini chihuahua they have been in the house their whole life, but because we had pets we had to get a pet room. The room was terrible, the carpet looked dirty, the beds were AWFUL, the pillows were like sleeping on a piece pf paper, the table in the room where you eat was dirty, the sheets had hair on them and the pillow cases were dirty. Now if you do not have pets you get to stay in a nicely remodeled room with log furniture and it costs the same as the other room. Plus you get a microwave and fridge. I was VERY disappointed with our stay. It shouldn't matter if you have pets, if the pets are well groomed and clean you should be able to stay in a nice room and have a nice experience!! We were just ready to get checked out and leave the Mountain Inn.
