Sunrise Lodge, Land O Lakes

Everyone is family at sunrise, I have gone once a year for five years, since I was 11, and I still have never gotten tired of it. They have activities for the whole family, so you are never bored, and like I said, everyone is family at sunrise. We all get so close as friends, that when It's time to go home, I feel like I'm leaving my brother or sister. I will never regret coming here, and I recommend this lodge to everyone.

The best place on earth!!!!!! If you want to relax, go fishing, EAT, or any of the othing things you would want to do on a summer vacation this is the place for you. The Mendam family that onwns the place treats you as one of there own. There are grat activities and a wealth of fun waiting for you at Sunrise Lodge.

The cabins, the wonderful food and the eagles to start. The service is wonderful, not in your face but always friendly and helpful. We have gone for 10 years now and still love it. Each year the improve one more thing to make sure they have an up to date business. Also the Sunday night cookout !! Fun !!

Wrote a review in 2004. Have been back in 2005 & 2006 and have reservations for 2007. Our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter now go with us. It continues to get better every year.Great lodging,food prices and ambience. Can't wait to get back........ The Wojcik Clan

Staff is tops. Activities there are so many and so little time. Only pick the ones you would like. Food is great. The roasted duck and lamb chops could have been better. There is so much to eat. Don't come here if you are trying to lose weight. Price is extreemly reasonable. We have tried to find another lodge, but cannot find the right price or the right kind of facilities for a family of 9. It is easier to get reservations in the latter half of August.

The staff treats you like family and goes out of their way to make your stay special. Everyday there are planned activities for the kids which gives the adults time for a well deserved rest. The meals are fantastic and the quality of food was something we never expected. You will never leave the lodge on an empty stomach. The resort itself is updated and very clean! Our cottage was updated and included all of the amenities of home including a gas fireplace and screened porch. Watching the sun rise over the lake in the morning is breathtaking. They even have bikes for your use. we were unable to make it last summer but cannot wait for our visit this year. It is the most relaxing vacation for my wife, myself and our 3 sons and 2 dogs. We all feel pampered!
