Timberlanes Motor Inn, Salem

The place is closed, out of business, sometime in early 2011. Try the Dutch house inn, located in Columbiana on state street (hwy 14). Much better with a really great dutch style restaurant and store. run by the local Amish.

I AM TRAVELING TO SALAM OHIO AND HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT HOTELS WELL I CAN NOT GET ANYONE TO ANSWER THE PHONE AT THIS HOTEL SO I CAN MAKE MY RESERVATIONS!!!SO I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WHERE....I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR TWO DAYS...NOT SURE IF THIS IS AN OLD SITE AND NOT UP TO DATE BUT YOU WOULD FIGURE IF THEY HAVE GOOD SERVICE AND A NICE PLACE THEY WOULD KEEP EVERYTHING UP TO DATE EVEN THE WEBSITE!!!!!!!! IM VERY UPSET!

We have stayed here more than once. The first time the staff were very coureous and helpful. The cost of staying here was appropriate for the accomodations ($55). Exactly one year later we decided to stay here again since our first experience was positive. We stayed in a room that was right next door to the room we had the first time. It was a mirror image of the room we had the previous year. To our surprise, when we checked out we were charged $107. There had been no changes made that would warrant such an increase. Mind you, we realize that sometimes location or accomodations warrant the cost, but make no mistake--THIS IS NO $100+ PER NIGHT HOTEL. We will never stay there again!!!

This is a really good place to have a nice dinner. My family and I enjoy or Sunday Dinners here and the price is very good.

Well if you travelling to Salem there isn't much to do but the hotel was nice its no Hilton but very nice it looks older on the outside but the rooms have been updated the bed was very comfortable and they had a handicap shower for my mother which made it much easier on me. My mom is from Salem and loves to go back. the price isn't too bad and the service was good. they have great breakfast.

whenever I travel to the area I always stay here its an older building but the rooms are nice and very affordable and the beds I don't know what kind they are but you get a good nights sleep and the staff is friendly the food is good as well

Stayed a few years back and it was HORRIBLE. But I guess there is a new owner and there have been many upgrades. I was very happy the beds were so comfortable so comfortable I didn't want to get up. Great food as well and great prices for fine dining.

The hotel is older but in excellent condition the staff was extremely helpful being older and traveling alone the desk clerk was kind enough to carry my bags. You have a rate of $60 on here I just had a standard room and was there over past weekend and it cost $54.00 with all taxes for one night and they give a discount off of Food for hotel guests.

This motel is OLD and Antiquated. The rooms are sparcely accomidating and have a strange odor about them The staff seemed indifferant about assisting the customer and the cleaning personel were not seen in 3 days. The rest. seemed nice but extremely over priced for the area and the types of food served. The access to the rooms makes it hard for one to feel comfortable about entering safely. The general location of the motel is fairly safe yet there is no proper lighting in the city owned parking lot. all in All, I shall make other accomidations on my next visit.
