Nice Place
By Dan, 1/28/12
Stayed at the Country Inn for a business function nearby. Check in was quick. The staff was really nice. The adjoining bar and restaurant was a blast. The bartenders were great. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Saw some of the other reviews about it being noisy, but I didn't hear a peep when we turned in for the night and the hotel was packed because of a nearby hockey tournament and polar plunge.

LOVED THE CONVENIENCE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/10
We completely enjoyed our visit to this Best Western. The staff was very friendly and completely helpful no matter what we asked. It was within walking distance of downtown and local restaurants and bars. Although the place was very busy we were not bothered by any noise. We did not have a poolside room however so that may make a difference. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the area and the people.

Will not go here again
By Marsha, 5/1/06
We were so looking forward to this part of our trip but this was a real disappointment. I agree with others reviewing here that the hotel was incredibly noisy at night, due to families swimming in the enclosed pool (in the middle of all the rooms), and even worse, due to a noisy wedding reception. The room was clean enough, but it just wasn't comfortable, the air conditioning seemed inadequate for comfort. We liked the building itself, and we were excited when we first arrived because it looked like it would be a change from the business type hotels, but after one night we were pining for the quiet business type hotel we had stayed in. Do not go here planning to get rest. For families--this hotel is quite family friendly, but as anywhere else, the parents that don't supervise their kids properly make it miserable for everyone else. We ate at the restaurant and found the prices amazing (don't order the shrimp cocktail, you pay PER SHRIMP), and I don't mean amazing in a good way. Noisy noisy noisy place.

Noisy weekends...busy place overall
By Amy, 11/16/05
This seems to be the ONLY place in town for people to party, convene, chat, etc. A wedding reception going on under our window the first night of our stay made it IMPOSSIBLE to sleep after hours of travel. While the pool in the middle of the hotel is aesthetically pleasing, it's the most impractical set-up in the history of hotels! You are almost guaranteed to get a room overlooking the loud pool area. The acoustics in there made normal conversations carry up to our third floor room!! Then on a Monday night, another convention was going on, and again...a party. Very hard to sleep or get any peace.

Won't go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/05
We stayed 5 nights and when we got home the hotel representative called and told us he was putting a "pet charge" on our charge card because they had omitted it. This is a standard cleaning charge and I can accept this but he charged for 5 nights even though I told him we did not have maid service at all during our stay. I think this is a very petty charge and will not stay there anymore. He also led me to believe he would only charge one time. Good hotel for families because the indoor pool was always full of kids and very noisy.
