Desk clerk the greatest
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/13/09
To Emily (?) the clerk on duty Friday, July 10, 4:00-ish, who went above and beyond. We did not know about the conventions in town and had no reservations anywhere. Rodeway was full as were most places, but she called all over to try and find us a room, which she did manage to do. Next time in town we will reserve with Rodeway because of your great staff; mainly her. Thank you!

Clean rooms and very friendly staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/18/09
Very reasonable and clean rooms. Milk, cereal and fruits for kids and adults for breakfast among other things. Swimming pool and hot tub was very nice. The staff went out their ways to help us.

The manager HAS ISSUES
By Ben Lecknir, 1/8/09
I would not recomend this place I offended the manger by getting my coffe in the morning and upon seeing him and his young son and said goodmorning SONSHINE as I say to my young daughters in the morning somehow he took offense to this not known to me at the time the next time I came to stay the front desk clerk said the she was informed by the manager that I was no longer allowed to stay there for the comment of goodmorning SONSHINE MADE HIM FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE (WOW) CAN YOU SAY HOMOPHOBE by the way the frontdesk clerk is a very nice young lady I told here that I was sorry to here that and told her I meant nothing by the comment and said I was sorry if he took offense to remark I must have devastated him with something so rude as morning SONSHINE .

great place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/21/08
i love how clean the rooms are and how nice the staff is.. was it worth the money? yes and was it fun oh heck yes. you can get pretty much anything you want there and it is cheap. the pool and the whirl pool is very nice. no it is not in the greatest place because it is right next to the highway.and it can get a little bit noisy but other than that i recommend it very highly

NEVER AGAIN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/22/08
What a dive!!!!!!!! Room was dirty. Lamp fixture was broke, silly string was stuck on interior door at eye level, hallway to room was stained and dingy. Sheet rock in room had a hole in it. Furnishing were beat-up, worn out and need to be replaced. Do yourself a favor don't stay here!!!!!!!!!

My neck will never be the same...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/15/07
Beware room 215. The room was clean and decent. But thats where it ends. The mattress's and pillows in this room was unbelievably uncomfortable. This mattress just magnified all the other little problems with the room as we tried to sleep. First when we decided to just tough it out and stay we had the window open to make it comfortable, at that point the first of many harley's passed by on the rood 20 feet above our window. To remedy this we closed the window and turned the vent on the air conditioner, within 10 seconds the fan on A.C. started to thump like a helicopter throughout the room. We decided to leave it on low A.C. and just deal with the cold. At this point someone in one of the units around us turned on their water, the sound of which reverberated throughout the entire room. Add up all of these problems with the horribly hard mattress and 2 thin cheap pillows and only being an hour and a half from home, at 11:30 our only night there, we just packed up and drove home and got some great sleep. Overall I feel I paid 74.99+tax/night for a room that was worth 45.00/night.

The staff are very friendly!
By amber p, 5/26/07
We recently stayed at this motel in the whirlpool suite. The staff were very very freindly, even more so then staff at the more expensive brands that we usually stay in. The girl at the front desk went out of her way to help us find directions and fun things to do-we bugged her all day long for help-and everytime she was friendly and accomidating-like we were old friends! I will come to this motel not only because the room was very nice and clean-but because the staff are some of the best motel staff we have ever encountered!

Great Value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/06
Nicely remodeled, bright and cheerful. It is within close walking distance to local eateries and shops. Close to downtown via four lane highway. Same day service on my request for a copy of receipt.

Excellent for a casual trip!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/22/06
Everything about my stay (three days)was very pleasant. Stayed in July and the room was ready with the air and fridge running when I checked in. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and provided extra service such as faxing and allowing my visitors to utilize the facilities (there were not alot of guests at the time). While it is not a four star hotel, it certainly was neat, clean and more than served my purpose. Will be staying there again in August for a day or so.

Bugs,dirt, and more
By Fred, 8/15/06
Service lousy. Help smoked in lounge next to non-smoking rooms. Garbage disposal was so smelly it took two bars of soap and a quart of ice to clean it up. I spent the day crushing cricket like bugs with my shoes. JUST AN AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL EXPERIENCE!
