Suburban Extended Stay Dallas, Dallas

I read the other reviews, and decided to stay there anyway... Thee bad comments sound like typical "SOCCER MOMS" never satisfied... The hotel is pretty darn good, I was in Dallas visiting and I really liked my accomidations. Evertything in the room looks very well kept. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Our 9 yrs old baseball team reserved 15 rooms, but were unable to make the trip to Dallas which is heartbreaking to the kids to begin with. When I called to cancel Monica informed me that the rooms would still be charged for one night on the day of checkin which totaled $1071.15 due to not cancelling a week in advance (I cancelled 5 days). But instead of charging the rooms on the date she stated which would be Friday she charged the account Monday. I would not recommend this hotel!! They are unwilling to work with groups on cancellations and they charge you the day you cancel so if you are going to cancel wait until the day of, since the rate does not change from 5 days out to the day of. They also don't seem to know who to contact except the day manager for assistance which is not available.

First of all you have to keep in mind that this place is not called The Four Seasons, however with that being said I personally think it was a good choice me and my family made. We were unfortunatley displaced from our home and had nowhere to go, so when we checked into The Lexington it wasa good choice for us. The people were great and whenever we had any problems (which were few), they were quick to fix it. The cleaning staff kept everything clean and they met every need that we had. We were there for a total of 7 months, and the whole 7 months that we were there we never encountered any problem from the staff or the other people that were checked in as well. It maintained it's order inside the individual hotel rooms as well as on the property. I would definitley go back if I ever had the chance to!
