housekeeping department needs great improvement

Based on the good reviews, The Charray Inn was where my family and I decided to stay. Even though there was several other places to choose from we checked in July 3rd until July 5 to a friendly front desk later apolized for only 1 towel being in the room for a family of 4 getting in late , turning down the bedspread the first thing you seen was a dry blood stain. Folded it up (inside out) left it on the bed; sure that it would be changed.Came in the next night they had just put it back on the bed, cigerrette butts left in the toilet along with shredded tissue paper that had not completley flushed Also there cup of water left on the night table, ashtray not empty. Checkout time is at 11o'clock at 9:30 housekeeping was at the door talking fixing to come in I looked out the window and 1 of the 2 women said Oh sorry, at 10:30 the phone in the room started ringing I picked up the receiver and the base of the phone was so dirty. It was housekeeping wanting to know if we was checking out today. It may be just me, But my thinking is there should be a list with room numbers on it of the guest checking out ,After check out time that is when housekeeping should come. And if there not going to do better cleaning then the day prior then its pointless. I checked out before 11 and address my issues with an older lady that was very friendley and apolized for the housekeepers. It is clear they don't care about there job. We had a choice and we chose Charray INN that for sure want happen again, but when you have that much competition just down the road . As a Bussiness I would think I need to make sure my employees respect my bussiness and take pride in what they do. They are too many unemployee people to put up with people that hurts my bussiness. I hope this is read by many and I hope changes are made, for the next family that has saved to take a vacation, and then is disappointed that the place they picked didn't care about there guest.
