Pear Tree Inn Fenton, Fenton

Very nice, knowledgeable staff, hotel need updating everything too ols and dated I will not stay again because frankly just not nice enough, too bad the staff is great. Was a clean and neat hotel just old, is reasonably priced. Good service. Needs to be all redone.

This hotel desperately needs updating. When we pulled in the driveway I wasn't sure it was open, the lobby is creepy but the people were very nice. The carpet felt damp an dirty, the TV was an old Zenith with fuzzy, dark picture, old bedspreads (clean), very old furniture. I slept fine but was awaken by the people next door. The plugins by the mirror didn't work so if you needed to use a flatiron or hair dryer, you were out of luck. Bathroom very tiny, my knees almost hit the wall and I am short. I like the location but probably won't stay there again unless they have updated.

This hotel was a fabulous value...conveniently located, clean, quiet, and very accommodating. The staff was exceptionally knowledgeable about the area and very willing to offer suggestions and advice. They also went out of their way to locate a roll-away bed to supplement our double bed room. The continental breakfast was very satisfying, but for those wanting a hot breakfast, there are several choices adjoining the hotel property. The kids really enjoyed the pool, which was well-maintained and had plenty of lounge chairs. I can whole-heartedly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
