Red Roof Inn Lansing - Michigan State University, Lansing

Stayed here for a Michigan State football game. Great location about 1.5 miles up the road from campus. Very run down and needs major work but was clean and didn't have any issues. Staff was very nice. Would recommend if you are looking for a basic place to crash and take a shower. No complaints just really needs a face lift. Great gameday location for Spartan sports games.

The person at the front desk was very friendly, and gave me a pretty nice discount on my room. Not the greatest of environments, but for sure not the worst! Room was very clean, and actually smelled really good when I walked in. I didn't expect much, just a cheap place to stay...I got all that and more! It was worth the money and I would recommend it for sure.

We attended the ABRA congress at MSU for several years now. After spending all day in the show barn it is a releif to be able to relax in our rooms. The rooms are clean, the staff very helpful. We fully enjoyed our stay.

What makes the location great makes the experience awful. This hotel is sandwiched between busy roads with big trucks. The woman at the desk was sweet and helpful. The room was smaller than expected ... I think it was built around the bed, which was fine. Every time I woke up from the noise, I found myself staring at stained ceiling. A hot bath would have helped me sleep, but the plumbing in the tub did not allow for one. The little things you expect (of even cheap hotels) were not there. No integrated blow dryer and the shampoo (Breck?) was in little squeeze packets like catsup. As a single female, I doubt I would ever stay here again. I did not feel safe. This place and it's environs need to be brightened up.

I left to another hotel. the night dirnk man making noise and calling us 1a.m for money. no one at the desk. i call our son to find other hotel and we find nice and cheap place in east lansing.
