This is a great motel that is when it is finished. It has a new owner that is going to completely re-do it. It will be a great motel and will draw people from all around. Just wait to you see all the new stuff. thanks and hope you are watching for it!!!

hotel desk people not helpful or informative pool being worked on,so not available for use rooms same price whether it has tv/microvave/refrigerator/overhead fan or only overhead fan. no cleaning service daily for "stay over" one more day. were told we would get clean towels by housekeeping,but had to get them ourselves by 6:oopm. no extra toilet tissue or clean glasses.

Too many people (scummy) hanging around the pool. We went with a whole group of people. We came from ohio for the sheet metel workers picnic at higgins lake. Some of the people even came over and asked us for some of our food. Some were drunk and vulgar. The front desk had a gray haired lady (Kathy) that was very rude. our room did not have towels when we arrived, the curtain in the bathroom was missing, no TV, and the air conditioning quit working. All and all it was nasty. I would not recomend this to anyone. It is really too bad because our group would have stayed there every year but now we have to find another place. Note: There was one really nice young lady with dark hair at the front desk to check us in. Nothing but good to say about her.

I agree with what the last reviewer said, I hear bad comments about this place all of the time. Maybe it has changed because of the new ownership and name; however, they have had many problems in the past. I was told that Health Inspectors were notified of issues concerning their pool not be clean. I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone.
