Zehnders Splash Village, Frankenmuth

The rooms were very nice for a family. The 3/4 wall between sleeping area and sitting area made it easy for adult visiting after the kids conked out. The staff was all very friendly. The water temperature was very comfortable. The ages of our grandchildren range from 3 to 8, and all 4 of them really enjoyed the waterpark. The price seemed a little steep. Would prefer a sink in the bathroom, versus outside the bathroom.

This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. The room was clean, the staff very helpful and friendly, and the waterpark was great. We did not use the arcade nor the restaurant so no opinion on those two things.

Before we went I read several reviews (about 1 month ago) that made me question...did I really want to keep my reservation? Am I ever glad I didn't let those comments sway me. The park is perfect for all ages but worked especially well for my 5, 7, and 9 year olds. All of them were able to participate in EVERY activity, including the two larger water slides. My 12 year old had a good time but tired quickly of only 2 larger slides, he was able to still keep himself occupied with the basketball section of the pool. :) We had a loft suite which very easily accomodated all of us...all 9!! The room was very spacious and very clean!! 3 queen beds, one sofa bed, gas fireplace, 3 tv's, fridge, microwave, and balcony. Now let me tell you about the food!!! We had the eat and sleep package. Dinner at Zehenders....they shuttle you to the restaraunt ....the best homestyle fried chicken dinner ever!!! The following morning included a breakfast buffet at the hotel which was outstanding.....anything you wanted....it was on that buffet. Our sevice was great at the Elk Hollow cafe....we utilized it for lunch also. My only draw back to our stay was the locker room. I feel they should INCLUDE a locker for any guest who cannot get into their room before 4:00 pm. A locker fee of 3.00 is required each time to you need to open it.....a little pricey for when your already spending 500.00+ Aside from my personal request....it was fantastic!!!!

We have stayed twice now, and have already planned our trip for March 2011, we always come to Frankenmuth for my daughter's birthday and we can't wait to go back again. The hotel is very clean and the staff is always very nice and helpful, we recommend getting the birthday package if you are celebrating a birthday. It is a great value.

I took my 6 year old and my mother. We all had a fabulous time. The rooms were some of the cleanest I have ever seen. I have done alot of traveling and this was really nice and clean. The waterpark was the perfect size for my daughter. We thought she would be overwhelmed at a much bigger place. I am going back again next February, can't wait.

Stayed in a two bedroom suitewith my family and my mother in law. Very nice. The main room had two queen beds, bath, and a little kitchen bar. Very roomy. Off of this room was another room, with also a full bath and one queen bed. There was a nice door to separate the two rooms. Could be together, but have time alone. Very clean, the staff was nice. Waterpark was great also. Clean and the lifeguards friendly but professional. Not as big as Kalahari, but I prefer that myself. Right next door to the Christmas Store. Would definitlly stay again!

We stayed in the cheapest room, and I was impressed. Everything must have been recently remodeled. The waterpark was a lot of fun for the whole family. There's even a lot for small children to do -- a small slide, wading pool, teeter totter and swings in the wading pool. My kids, ages 9 and 7, spent most of the time on the three water slides, crossing the lilly pads, and getting dumped on by the bucket. They can't wait to go back. We didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the quality or price of the food. But they had almost anything you would want. Very convenient.

Very clean and well staffed.Friendly service. Good food(great pizza). Comfortable rooms.Had a blast in the water park(and I'm over fifty)! Also there was a nice quiet pool to get away from the noise.

It was cool. Had a wounderful time and my best friend said it was her 12th time going the mini golf is wounderful and very amusing. If you go go into the water fall and there is a lazy river. I going this spring break and plan to have a wounderful time. HAVE FUN

It seems like the owners of the water park do not care what it looks like. There is rust on some of the heaters and door frames. There is a lot of little things that could be fixed to make the park look a lot better. The water park is very small compared to other water parks throughout the state. You will have to spend a lot of money to get the entire family into the park. The rooms only come with four passes to the water park and extra passes are expensive. NOT WORTH GOING!
