COLD, NO TOWELS, NO REFUND, AND NO APOLOGY!
Initially the room had a pleasant appearance however after a short while discovered on the coledst day of the year there was an inadequate heating system and no towels. After I notified the desk person of the situation he said give the room 30 minutes to heat up and the room should be warm and he would have towels sent up immediately. Subsequently we waited for over an hour for both situations to be resoved and neither were. Again I called the front desk and the same personnel said he could change the room but it would be the same situation with that type of heat and patrons had stolen many of the towels so there were not enough and something was wrong with the lady in the laundrry room and he had no idea when there would be towels. We were flabergasted and shortly thereafter bagged our items up and left to the office. The clerk refused to return our funds (regardless that policy does not exist) and told us he had already spoken to the general manager who is his friend and boss, and further knew he would not return our funds. Two days later and two callss later the general manager returned my called and said we lied! He spoke some more choice words and hung up after saying it was not necessary to speak with as he had already spoken to his staff. Well that brings me to where I am today, making complaints and speaking with my attorney. COLD, NO TOWELS, NO REFUND, UNCARRING DESK CLERK, RUDE GENERAL MANAGER and NO APOLOGY!
