Try the Spa and stay elsewhere.
Very quiet and peaceful. Room decor is worn and needs a good cleaning. All fabric furniture needs replacing, but there are some nice period antiques. For this to be billed as "luxury" lodging, the sheets were rough and pillows flat and smelly. Parking is down the mountain and around the block. Plan on a 10 minute HIKE back to the hotel. No valet service,no shuttle. At this price, I sure expected a bit of pampering. Breakfast consisted of a little sliced fruit, OJ, coffee and a VERY stale muffin with no microwave to heat it to a consumable softness.
One of the bright spots is the historic spa straight from the 1900's. It is clean, a good value, and a great experience.
