Wonderful and Relaxing! Will Stay Again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/23/11
Palace Hotel & Bath House Spa is a wonderful boutique hotel with 8 King Size Jacuzzi Suites and awesome Bath House Spa located on the lower level of the hotel. Hotel took us back to the old world charm in style and ambiance. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel right at home...Staff met everyone of our needs. King size beds were very comfortable and continental breakfast (which was served to our room by the staff) was delicious! We had spa treatments in the old fashioned bath house and we left completely relaxed. We would definitely stay again!

Absolutely wonderful experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/2/07
The Palace Hotel & Bath was was an incredible blend of history and comfort. We loved our room--the bed was sooo good(wanted to buy the pillows, they were so comfortable) and the atmosphere was delightful. That's even before we went down to the bath house for "The Works"! Loved the old steam cabinet and, best of all, the nostalgia complimented a wonderful massage. The warm and efficient staff were helpful but never intrusive. All in all--a fun trip and an interesting place. We'll definitely return.

Try the Spa and stay elsewhere.
By SJ, 3/5/07
Very quiet and peaceful. Room decor is worn and needs a good cleaning. All fabric furniture needs replacing, but there are some nice period antiques. For this to be billed as "luxury" lodging, the sheets were rough and pillows flat and smelly. Parking is down the mountain and around the block. Plan on a 10 minute HIKE back to the hotel. No valet service,no shuttle. At this price, I sure expected a bit of pampering. Breakfast consisted of a little sliced fruit, OJ, coffee and a VERY stale muffin with no microwave to heat it to a consumable softness. One of the bright spots is the historic spa straight from the 1900's. It is clean, a good value, and a great experience.

A romantic place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/6/05
We come here frequently for one night getaways. The spa downstairs is old-fashioned and very relaxing. The breakfast is usually light but nice.
