Gulf State Park Cabins, Gulf Shores

the things that I dislike about the hotel is some of the maids.they act as if they are on the bad side.but, I know,if I come today,it will be better

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in June. At first I was a little uneasy. There is a can of bugspray at the door but, you are less than a football fields length from the beach. It's such a nice place to stay and the view from our 2nd floor balcony was wonderful! The entire experience was a blessing and we are hoping to visit again this summer.

we loved the place but my problem is I can't get any info on what is being done to rebuild if anything. if so when might it be open again.

We love the Anchor Building. The staff is wonderful. WE have been regulars for 15 years from the time we lived in Louisiana to now (we live in Connecticut). The view is perfect, the beaches are wonderful. It's the best vacation! We miss you and hope you recover from the hurricane and open again.

We have been going to the resort for over 12 years and think the rooms really need a 100% make ove. Last year when we went there was new carpet. but the furniture is in very sad shape had been stained and looked bad. The bath rooms could really stand to be up dated and not the cleanest. but over all you don't spend much time in your rooms. The food is good if you eat at the resort.

WE HAVE BEEN TO RESORT OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS AND ENJOY IT WITHOUT A DOUBT ONE OF THE BEST BARGINS AT GULF SHORES. BEST LOCATION AND ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT IN DINING ROOM.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon in June 2004. I have to say that I was a little unhappy with the appearance of the hotel but once our vacation was underway, I loved it! The room was comfortable and the beach is so close! It was nice to wake up every morning and hear the waves hitting the beach. I'd like to stay here every year! The price is unbeatable too!

The double sliding glass window with the ocean in view day and night along with the balcony was the best. And the price wasn't bad either. Please ask the state to open it back along with repairing the pavilions on the beach part that the camping park has to use. I was so dissapointed that it was closed and boarded up the last time I was there. Gulf Shores is a family place. Staying right on the beach has been the grandest vacation I have ever had. Thanks. We stayed one time but never again. Our carpet was wet and the room smell musty. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. If we had been on the lower floor we would not have been able to see the beach. We're from Alabama and we were ashamed of the condition of the resort.
