Not as expected or as we were told

We made reservations for a "suite." Upon arrival, we were surprised to find that a "suite" meant a standard size room with a king bed and a sofa sleeper--very little room to even walk around. We were not happy as we had been told that we would have two areas. We opted for regular rooms which were the same size as the "suite" with no sofa sleeper.(we did get $10.00 off our rooms because of the error). Also, no in-room coffee maker, no iron, no ironing board, no alarm clock,(all are advertised as being in the rooms) no personal products like shampoo and lotion that one expects to find in hotels. The rooms smelled stale. The "free" breakfast was not worthwhile so we were happy that it was free. The coffee was ok, the only fruit was apples, watery juice, soggy sweet buns in a package. There were a couple of ceral choices, but no healthy items. The waffles were fair. We only tired the breakfast once during our 4 day stay. I just expected better because I relied on the webb site and the booking agent and I shouldn't have done that. Live and Learn! The location to the air force base is good. The people were nice.
