Fifth, Mold, dirt and just plain nasty
By D B R, 7/18/10
The room was not cleaned and they knew this before assigning it to us. When we asked for a fee adjustment because of the fifty condition of the room, we were challenged as to whether we did this. Finally after hanging up the receptionist apparently talked to the head housekeeper who must have checked the books and admitted that the room was "accidentally skipped". The Cleaning crew was on the floor cleaning a room just two doors down from the one we were assigned. We left and went to eat to give them time to clean the room. Nevertheless, the shower tub was fifty, mold was in the corners of the restroom, trash was under the foot of the beds, trash was on the kitchen floor and the room smelled like a pig sty and we did not have enough clean towels. When we asked for additional towels we were told to use the dirty ones. We asked for a non-smoking room but was not given what we paid for. The room smelled so bad we had to ask for some room spray to kill the odor. We were given a can with just enough spray to do the curtains, chairs and then it was empty. In short unless it is a matter of life and death I don't advise anyone to use this facility. It needs to be torn down. Finally the room for one night was $159 before taxes, $189 after taxes but when I checked my account balance I had been charged $191 and no one could give me an answer for the overcharge. If the bill is not corrected soon, I promise this: there will be consequences. OK

Gross, Mold, Dirty, Never stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/1/09
My husband, three children and myself were traveling back from our vacation in Florida to New Jersey. We found this Days Inn, the room rate was $69 a night, this hotel should pay people to stay there instead of taking their money. We went into the room and right away you are overwhelmed by an awful smell, still have not figured out what the smell is but it was bad. Within minutes of being in the room my throat started to close up and my chest started to tightened, the same thing was happening to my 8 year old twins all because of mold. it was awful, The place was filthy looked like it had never been cleaned. Brown stuff on the walls and floors, dust piled so high I don't think it was ever cleaned. Mold in the bathrooms, on the ceiling again it should be shut down. My husband went down to the main desk asked for our money back and we left and went and found a real hotel. It was after 11pm at night but trust me we all slept better in a real place (Sleep Inn not far from this horrible place). The air that night was very humid and trust me I could breath better outside than I could breath in that room. We stayed a whole 15 to 20 minutes and trust me that was to long. The person at the Sleep Inn after my husband explained to her what had happened said they always get people in at night saying the same kind of thing. So just bypass the one so called hotel and go straight to the Sleep Inn you will be much happier you did. And if there is anyone out there reading this from the Board of health, please shut this place down god only knows what kind of things you could pick up from there.

DO NOT STAY HERE. EVER!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/21/08
dont know where to start. human shit on the walls. used q-tips on the floor along with frenchfries. pubic hairs in the beds, on the towels, even on the coffee maker, which had no pot. black mold in shower vent, in refrigerator. BUGS. A/C does not work well at all. room service let themselves in the room at 8 am. while we were sleeping. the sinks and showers have been painted to apparently cover stuff up. i advise no matter what it comes down to, definatly do not stay here.
