nice location, fairly quiet, reasonably clean--HOWEVER: beds were advertised as "king size" but were full size with king size sheets on the matress. cabins/cottages (both terms are generous) are located among some dwellings that are permanent residences,SO... we didn't mind the chickens in the yard, and the ducks in the pen were usually quiet at night. Overall, we would come back if the beds were what they say they are, but the weren't.

Unique and restful

I have been regularly visiting the VI for about 6 years. The owners are very nice people who seem genuinely interested in providing a comfortable,homey place to stay. The VI is older and not fancy, but the rooms are comfortable,clean,and reasonably priced. The grounds are lovely and many interesting activities are located nearby(including Callaway Gardens). The walk to the lake behind VI is relaxing. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I have.
