Dunes Manor Hotel, Ocean City

We liked the hotel itself, very nice and clean. It was not on the boardwalk, a couple blocks down. Bar is nowhere near the pool. Pool is not up to par. More for older people. Nice if you like tea in the afternoon and not a margarita! Literally, they have tea time!

Only thing i liked at this place was the lobby. everything else was dirty. The food was awfull. Room was filthy then the f/o manager gave me a different room and some body was already in that room. Very poor management.

I have been to Dunes Manor before, and I RAVE about this hotel. When I came back this time, it was nice at first. The same old same old. But that night, we smelled fish IN our room and on some floors near us. I can't stand the smell, and I won't even dare to eat it. We go down to the front desk, and it turns out we are right next to a suite that has a kitchen. So one of the staff members knocks on the door, and the say the caught a trout and fried it. we got moved to a diffrent room. At the jewry shop, there was an Asian woman who took one look at my daughter and completely ignored her. We walk in and she's all, "Hello! We have a sale today..." She was VERY rude.

We really enjoy the tea time and nightly entertainment. At times the elelvators are extremely slow, other than that the visit has always been wonderful. Now, I include my in-laws as well and this experience is right up their alley!!

This is one of the worst hotel values I have ever seen. The rooms are VERY small for the money, even if they are oceanfront. The hotel claims to have free, high speed, wireless internet, but the signal doesn't reach all the rooms. When I called the front desk to ask about the lack of signal, I was told that I could come to the lobby and access the internet there. That is an unacceptable way of dealing with a problem. The hotel is very nice looking on the outside, but the room appointments are very sparse, and again, the rooms are far too small for what they cost. I will say that the location is good, only one block from the boardwak, and it is, of course, right on the beach. The indoor/outdoor pool is nice, but there is an "attendant" present the entire time, so we felt a lack of privacy and didn't stay at the pool long. It is also very, very clean and well maintained, with a friendly housekeeping staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you get one of the special suites (Rhode Island Inn Suite, etc) because there is very little space in the room. I have seen better appointed rooms in a Red Roof Inn. This is not a good value and I will not stay there again.

I am a nurse from Washington hospital Center in washington, DC, I have been to the dunes hotel three times and the dunes motel once they both are great but I love the hotel because of the ocean veiw's, room service, inside piano and bar, the gym, pool etc. iT'S A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. Alvonette.

I liked the location, the cleanliness, the friendly employees and the food. I loved the tea time and the piano player. I took my whole family last year and they loved it. I hope to return this year.

This was my mother-in-laws favorite place to stay. She tooks us all there as a family before she past away from cancer, so this place will always be dear to my heart. She spent many holidays here to forget and enjoy the peace and serenity it has. Thank you for always being there for her and us.

We try to get here at least 2 times a year. We have even gotten friends hooked into coming here. The food is great and the rooms are so clean.The view of the water from the windows or the balcony are wonderful and breath taking no matter what room we have had

Great place to take families. Loved the afternoon tea with cookies. Piano player at night with group sing along. Very clean. The staff is very friendly. Our 2 year old was very welcome.
