When you first walk into the hotel, there is a grand staircase to take you up to the lobby, and to the right is where you check in. Straight accross from when you come up the staircase is the raised patio, that takes you to the lower deck, that has the Zippy Louis Lounge. You can get drinks and food. Walking toward it, the first stop on the right is the Mexican jewlrey shop. Next stop is the hallway that takes you upstairs to the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. And then the next stop after that is the inside bar of the Zippy Louis Lounge. In the hallway toward the pool, there is a window where you can order and a cabnit with books to borrow. To the left in the lobby, there is the restaraunt and complamentry coffee and lemon water throughout the day. From 4pm to 5pm, there is free afternoon tea. There are 11 floors of oceanside rooms, the 2nd floor all smoking. The rest is Non. The hotel is located right on the beach, and about 2 min. walking distance from the 3 mile boardwalk. The good thing about not being on the boardwalk is not having the teenager's noise untill midnight, when the boardwalk closes. The easy thing to do is take the tram to the tecnacal begining, and walk back. The best dinner place there is Harrison's Harbor Watch, but be prepared for a bill of about $100. Another, less exspesive restaraunt is Shanagin's. Dunes Manor is also accross the street from the best doughnut shop in the U.S., The Fractured Prune. You create your own doughnuts, and you can take them on the beach to eat. This hotel is the best in Ocean City!
