A great stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/08
The Dunes Manor was a great hote because of the service and lobby. Although everything was great the cleaness wasn't to good. We saw sand and dirt in our room. All around it was a great stay and the view was awesome and that we didn't have to drive or walk a long way to the beach or boardwalk. Thanks Dunes for a great stay.

Superb
By FONTAINE, 05/27/08
Every room has a marvelous ocean view. The ambiance of this updated hotel is great for a romantic get away. The original sixteen-century tradition of teatime is great for families to come together. I would reommend every to absorb the essence of the beach from the fabulous back porch. This hotel is located within walking distance to place your heart desires. Superb!!!!!!!!! I will be back!!!!!

Can't Wait to Return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/17/08
We have been going to Dunes Manor off-season for years and enjoy it every time we go back. We were there this past weekend and plan on going back in October and again the following March. The food in the restaurant is very good and the pool is both indoor and outdoor. The hot tub was very hot. Nice place. On the weekends, they have Shirley Toms playing the piano with sing alongs. It fits right in with the victorian theme of the hotel. Every day from 3:00 to 4:00 they have tea with cookies and crumpets....very charming. The hotel is clean and taken care of very well. I would recommend going to visit.

can't wait to go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/10/08
I love the ocean front room and all the extra things they had for us. Morning coffee and afternoon tea with cookies. Everything was very clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you.

STAY AT THE DUNES !!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/26/08
I loved the Dunes as soon as you walk in you see a beautiful site of the lobby. The service was normal and the people were very nice there. The location was beautiful. I also like it because of the oceanfront view. It's better when you go with family. I also like it because it is very close to the ocean, boardwalk, mini golf, and the amusement park. It was one of my greatest stays in Ocean City Maryland. I'd also recommend the hotel next to it the Waldorf.

My Family Tradition
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/07
My family has been coming to The Dunes Manor since it opened back in the 80's and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The atmosphere, veranda, ocean view rooms(all of them are), and daily tea time are just a few of the wonderful reasons to stay at The Dunes.

Expensive. Poor value
My wife & I had a gift package for our anniversary. Two meals were to be included but we were told there were no tables available, sorry! Rooms were small. Lobby was very loud with drinkers singing and carousing in the evening. The hotel is old and the rooms outdated. Needs a complete overhaul.

Will go back this fall
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/07
The people was great and the food was and is also. We really have a real nice time when we come to Ocean City Dunes Manor Hotel. We have be there several times and will go back. We have been there when the lady that built the Hotel gave Tea out and I think that was so nice of her to meet the people and talk to them just like you and I are talking. She was a very very nice lady. Thank you Joe and Joann

Overall good experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/07
The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Our biggest disappointment was that the room was small and not a good value for the price. The view was beautiful. I haven't' returned but would if the rooms were bigger and better. We also liked how close the hotel was to the boardwalk yet far enough to not be noisy.

I Loved Every Single Minuite of My Stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/07
When you first walk into the hotel, there is a grand staircase to take you up to the lobby, and to the right is where you check in. Straight accross from when you come up the staircase is the raised patio, that takes you to the lower deck, that has the Zippy Louis Lounge. You can get drinks and food. Walking toward it, the first stop on the right is the Mexican jewlrey shop. Next stop is the hallway that takes you upstairs to the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. And then the next stop after that is the inside bar of the Zippy Louis Lounge. In the hallway toward the pool, there is a window where you can order and a cabnit with books to borrow. To the left in the lobby, there is the restaraunt and complamentry coffee and lemon water throughout the day. From 4pm to 5pm, there is free afternoon tea. There are 11 floors of oceanside rooms, the 2nd floor all smoking. The rest is Non. The hotel is located right on the beach, and about 2 min. walking distance from the 3 mile boardwalk. The good thing about not being on the boardwalk is not having the teenager's noise untill midnight, when the boardwalk closes. The easy thing to do is take the tram to the tecnacal begining, and walk back. The best dinner place there is Harrison's Harbor Watch, but be prepared for a bill of about $100. Another, less exspesive restaraunt is Shanagin's. Dunes Manor is also accross the street from the best doughnut shop in the U.S., The Fractured Prune. You create your own doughnuts, and you can take them on the beach to eat. This hotel is the best in Ocean City!
