Super 8 Milford, Milford

This is the WORST motel we have ever seen in our lives. The room that we were assined to was dirty, fly infested, smelled like 500 stinky wet dogs and 2 million smokers had been in the room. When we walked into the room and saw and smelled the awful odors we didn't touch a thing, we immediately turned around and went back to the front desk and informed the person sitting at the desk of the bad condition of the room, he then offered us another room, we went to that room and it was worst than the previous one. Needless to say we went back to the front desk and asked for a refund, and I almost flipped out when he offered us another room. We asked for a refund, but because we had booked through EXPEDIA.com he said he could not give us our money back. We left and stayed at the HOLIDAY INN express in Harrington. I contacted EXPEDIA.com and explained to them the condition of the rooms and they refused to refund our money. I would sugges that you never use EXPEDIA.com for any of your travel or lodging needs because they support rat/roach motels like the Super 8 in Milford, DE.

I had always heard people say "goodnight don't let the bed bugs bite..." but never NEVER thought I would actually ever have a bed bug bite me!!! The room was so infested with them that I did sleep in my truck... When my family members and I complained because both of our rooms (at opposite sides of the hotel) were so infested we couldn't sleep, the guy just handed us our money back, didn't even phase him (as if he wasn't surprised). Then he proceeded to rent the rooms right out to someone else. The rooms were not dirty, but when they are bug-infested it doesn't even help. It's better to go closer to the beaches and just pay more rather than stay at this hotel. Plus, there's a lot of non-family-friendly activity there (I won't even go into that in detail, but you can guess)... Never again.

my co-worker found a 3 inch straw with cocane residue between his sheets. the room was half-way cleand on arrival, like they started it but left in the middle of it. constant phone calls asking if we had "ANY" and that they were "LOOKING FOR SOME"

This place had a microwave and fridge with no extra cost! that was helpful to store my sons insulin. Clerk was friendly, remote battieries were dead and he took care of it right away. will stay again much better than other motels at price range.

Our first clue should have been when when walked into the lobby & there was food all over the floor & stayed there for hours. The room was dirty (afraid to use the bathroom) & the smoke detector was disconnected & sitting on the TV.

Due to the lateness we were forced to sleep in this nasty thing they call a motel. I should have known it was going to be bad when upon check in the attentdant said if you do not like the room I will give you a refund! The sheets looked clean,BUT that was it! everything else was nasty I had to keep my shoes on all the time! there were things on the floor!The air conditioner did not work and it was very hot in there! Never, ever again the health department should be checking this place out soon! GROSS!

Room was dirty. So were the sheets. The room stunk.It was so bad I wanted to sleep in my car and not the room.
