The Pines Cottages, Asheville

The Pines is a slice of heavenly peaceful times. Our cottage, #7, was exactly what we wanted to stay in and it was a pleasure to be there. The location is convenient to just about everything in the area and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was a vibrant beautiful sight to see. We will definitely be back and it'll always be cottage #7. The kitchen and bathroom were terrific and the fireplace was just what the doctor ordered. The coolest cabin with a deck patio out back, just all so great!! The owners are totally awesome and cordial in a special kinda way and so helpful. Best of luck to them and the joy they gave to us with these very cool cottages. Our dog loved it too!!

This is a great place to stay. The cabins are private, staff helpful, cleaned each day, nice to have a kitchen, grocery store close as well as attractions. I will stay again. Thanks.

We loved Everything!!! Great service!! Candy,the office manager, was amazing, the cottage was sweet and very clean and the atmosphere was nostalgic...The flowers on the property were also beautiful!Would recommend anytime!!

Stayed there Nov 2004. The place is in what I�ll describe as run down neighborhood next to the highway. The cottage was in a very bad condition. The blanket on the bed had wholes in , the bathroom was not cleaned apparently for a couple of moths. The place was covered with dust and mold. I had to go to a hotel after all. The manager stated the he will return my money. That didn�t happened. I will not stay there again and I don�t recommend that place.

Not for those who want frills or the excitement of the city, but it's quaint, atmospheric, and perfectly suited for my taste. (Calls to mind the roadside hideaways of Humbert Humbert and Lolita on their epic journey).
