Sunset Beach Motel, Sebring

THE LOCATION OF THIS MOTEL IS EXCELLENT, IT HAS A FRIENDLY STAFF, AND THE ROOMS ARE GREAT FOR PEOPLE THAT LIKE TO COOK ,THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND VERY COMFORTABLE, AND THE BEACH IS PRIVATE AND BEAUTIFUL, I REALLY ENJOYED MY STAY AND WOULD LOVE TO RETURN , ONE HAPPY GUEST! Sunset Beach was the best lodging choice we could have made on our trip through Sebring. I greatly enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was down by the beachfront (even though we weren't too far from the highway), offered time to do some reading. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms clean.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 stars by Mrs.Matthew LaCovey 04/07/2010 This place has come long way...it's quiet , and the private beach is gorgous...we sat on our back porch every morning and evening and had coffee and watched the birds over the lake...we were within walking distance of the grocery stores, drug stores and fast food joints...the room was clean...the rates were reasonable...and the beds were new...we hadnt been there for the races since they were under new management in the past several years...but were glad we tried them again this year ...what an improvement... the employee's were so helpful, one morning on our way to the races we had accidently left an interior light on in our car and our car wouldn't start, the new manager had one of her employee's come out and give us a jump ... we'll be back again next year and we're bringing more of our friends with us...I give them 5 stars *****

Wretched dump. Phones don't work, clammy bedsheets, overpriced piece of garbage. Avoid like the plague!

the day we went ro reserve a room the little old lady was so helpful. we were gonna reserve it for a few days but she said no need they weren't busy and the room we wanted was available for however long we needed it because buisness was slow. we went in the next day and the other peggy bundy woman said we could only stay one night because they were totally booked for days. we were in town a few days and everytime we went by it was empty as in no buisness. i believe she had a problem with us being hispanic. we are clean and decent people and paying for a place to stay was not an issue. we just wanted to be close to our mother that had been hospitalized.we didn't care that it wasn't a five star we just needed it. we should of stayed at the hampton that we had been at in ellenton. it was upscale and people were great to us regardless our race.
