Golden Link Motel, Kissimmee

Like eveything! especially the staff and homeliness! Everyone is so friendly, the rooms are so large, inviting and immaculately clean. Nobody objected to us having a water pistol fight in the pool and even wanted to join in! Loved the place and cannot wait to see everyone again, especially Sheila! (from Wales like us). Would reccomend it to anyone who doesnt want to spend too much money on hotel accomodation but wants a good standard. Nothing is too much trouble and they even send you Christmas cards! Cant wait to get back in April.

This is what a motel stay should be like. The staff is friendly and accomodating and the rooms were clean and in good repair. I would reccommend this place to anyone and if I ever come back to Kissimmee, this is where I will stay again.

We have stayed at the Golden Link 6 times now since 1994, basically every time we go to Forida. Found the motel simply by chance and would not consider staying anywhere else. The staff are great (especially shelia from wales) and the services and utilities are second to none. It is so good to return to a place where the staff remember you and go out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. The pool is heated and lit and is so enjoyable after a day at the parks and something to really look forward too. Highway 192 next to the motel has undergone an immense change since we first started visiting here and now has pedestrian walkways and crossing points to loads of resturants and shops. Have just booked flights and car hire again for easter 2010 and of course a room at the Golden Link. It will be good to meet the staff again and nice to to know that a warm welcome awaits us. All i can say is forget booking a hotel package to Orlando, all you need is a flight, car hire and directions to the best kept secret in Kissimmee.... the Golden Link Motel. bsynnott@hotmail.co.uk

This is a nice little hotel. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The location was great!! Easy access to Disney World and International Drive. This is right at the End of Road 535 that takes you to 536. (Epcot Dr) Go left (on 536) to Disney Parks go right to International drive. The rooms were clean and neat. NO bugs!! They had Micro, Fridge, and a small table and 2 chairs my kids were able to eat at. Double beds were a bit small, but did give you more room to move around. Pool was basic but nice, and it was heated 88deg. Much nicer then a lot of more expensive places I have stayed. The only negative things were minor the "Continental Breakfast" was coffee, watered down juice and some nasty rolls. (but really what do you expect for $40 a night) You are better off to head to the grocery store across the street and get milk and cereal. Also the rooms used real keys, I prefer the electronic locks that can be changed. All and all the Positives far outweigh the negatives. We will plan to stay here next time we go down to Disney.

stayed at the link for a week with my wife and little girl,what a fantastic location.staff were great,nothing to much trouble.the lake was a nice plase to relax after a hadd day park hopping.

The room was clean & the desk clerks pleasant. However, there was no continental breakfast as the website advertised. Just some coffee in the very small lobby. As for their bragging about being "American". There was only one desk clerk who did not have a heavy foreign accent. The pool was nice but near the front lobby instead of on the lake. The lake had no boats as the picture showed and was dirty & you could not swim in it. I did not see any beach just a few lawn chairs in the back of the hotel facing the lake.

My husband and I have been visiting the golden Link since before we were married. Our son in turning 7 soon and we are still visiting. Great location, great value, clean rooms, you cant ask for more.

we have stayed at the golden link motel for a while,bit it is horrible that we got kicked out this last time because of the child. i guess thew managment could not give a true reason, but if 1 person don't like you the manager will kick you out. the front desk employees as well as house keeping is nice.

This place is junk. I stayed here with my new husband and in-laws because it looked like fun. Jet skis? I had a look at "beautiful Lake Cecile". Looks more like Swamp Cecile. I'd be scared to take a battleship there, let alone a jet ski. i actually found a roach in my sheets and wanted to cancel my week there, and was told that the "Manager/Owner Monica" that I would be arrested if I did not pay in full. I did, and left. Some older brunette in glasses. Did not get her name. The pool was a joke. Filthy! Dead insects and such. I kennelled my dog because they said that pets were not allowed. i saw no less than three different guests walking three differnent dogs. This is worthy of ridicule. I will never stay here again and will do my best from keeping even my worst enemy from staying here. This place sucks! I would have rather stayed on a park bench. At least my neighbors would have been quieter!
