At Beso Del Sol Resort you will feel right at home. While being close to the hubbub of Clearwater you are still just out of reach of the noise to enjoy a peaceful vacation while having the number one beach in the USA right up the road at Honeymoon Island State Park. Recently remodeled, this location offers an array of units from studios to 2 bedroom lofts and a state of the art Penthouse with 4,000 square feet. We are right on the water with two pools, a Jacuzzi, workout room, bike rentals, and a Tiki Bar with a full service water-view restaurant soon to be completed. For the sun worshiper who likes to get physical, you can rent one of our bicycles and hit the local Pinellas Trail for miles of biking fun. Located in Dunedin but just a short drive to Tampa, there are endless possibilities for things to do every day of the week rain or shine. It seems like there is always some kind of festival or event taking place in the area and Dunedin prides itself on being a historic place that has a passion for local artists. We have a private dock for fishing and boat slips for those who want to bring their boat to maximize their vacation activities. We even have a local boat captain that offers beach hopping trips on the weekends if you are not able to bring your boat. The possibilities really seem endless but sometimes the best thing may just be to hang out at the pool, hide out from the world, and chill out with your favorite beverage. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Known as one of the oldest towns on the West Coast of Florida, Dunedin, FL combines small town charm with bustling city life. Enjoy strolling the streets of downtown or relaxing beside the waterfront. This quaint city is a perfect destination for all ages.

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/24/10
The only thing accomadating about this place was the cleaning crew. The ladies were nice. Traveling with a 70 year old, didn't need handicapped room but did need to be close to elevator or on low level, lady promised we would be taken care of. We were put on the third floor at the end of the building fartherest away from the elevator. Beso del Sol did not try to accomodate us at all. Only apologized for the inconvenience. Promised internet accessible. Nope. Our room was too far from the router. New granite counter tops? Maybe two inches. Provided a dish drainer? Where to put it? On the counter top? Nope. On top of the two burner stove top. No counter space in the bathrooms. Pedestal sinks. Mirror? Not over the sink. Try blowing your hair dry and doing your makeup on a mirror that is hung on the side wall over the sink. TV next to aircondtioner unit. Every time the a/c came on you had to turn the TV up to hear. At check the staff knew better than to ask me how I enjoyed my stay.

Can't wait to get back !!!!!!!!!!!
By peter, 09/02/08
My family and i stayed for the holiday weekend and had a great time !!!!!! The staff were very friendly and accomadating. The rooms were very clean and the decor gave it an old Florida feel. We were excited to hear they will be opening the resturant (which will overlook the water and Caladesi island) and a tiki bar very soon. I would definitly advise my friends and family to stay there. KUDOS TO YOU BESO DEL SOL RESORT !!!!! Keep up the great work.

We simply loved it!
By JessicaS, 08/29/08
We stayed in early August and despite the renovations, our stay was terrific! The pool was great as it was right on the water and my husband even caught a fish! The new restaurant and tiki bar they say will be opening in September and we will be back.

Never again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/08
The complex was under construction and almost deserted at night. There were several cars but no signs of people so very unsafe for a single woman traveling alone. I was scheduled for 2 nights but chose to check out early on the second day when I realized the lack of security and was told I would be charged for the second night anyway. In addition, the room was not clean.

Redone and Beautiful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/06
It is under new ownership and gorgeous!! Beautifully decorated rooms, not like a sterile hotel room. Wonderful location on the water. Breathtaking sunsets! Will love to return!

Priorities
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/31/05
Love the view and the people are nice. Most staff try to be accommodating. The furniture, paint, etc could stand to be updated. It is a nice place to sit and look at the water and just chill. Good location - close to Clearwater and Tarpon Springs. A little overpriced during season based on lack of upkeep.

Bukowski-esh
By Phillip, 06/17/05
If you were Chuck or Hank (Henri Chenaski) and by chance enjoyed the salt air, this place is for you. Nothing like sitting in your underwear, drinking, and gazing across the Gulf to Tampico. Plus those girls in the bikinis. Oh, yes. Get over your desired affluent yet affluentless hang ups - relax and lose yourself here. - A Dunedin Native and regular visitor

Will never go there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/30/05
The service was fine, what little we had. The reason that is, because we didn't keep the room. It looked like something they threw together with whatever they could find out of the trash. It was the worst place I (personally) have ever booked for a vacation. I can't understand why anyone would ever stay there.
