Quality Inn on the Beach, Ormond Beach

my husband and i were married here we had the room on the bottom floor with private beach access and had a wonderful ceremony and the staff all watched and cheered us on from the pool deck as we said our vows at sunset on the water and i checked out and fogot my weding dress behind i called from Home TN and the shipped it to me no charge talk about service WOW i would recomend this hotel to anyone we are going to go back again and again and get our same room!!!!

the service is amazing for the price your paying. the rooms are so clean and the decor is so modern. our remote didnt work when we came back from dinner we called the front desk and she had it fixed in no time at all. they are so quick to fix any problem at all and the price your paying makes it so much better. if you need to find a place to eat they give you a few great places and directions. we stayed for 3 days and had to add an extra 2 days on to our trip because we didnt want to go home, we were so happy we did. they have a cute breakfast area too and the other guests are so friendly too its a smaller hotel but its amazing. we had alot of fun while staying there. your right on the beach! very much worth it to stay there. we have told all our friends to go we are all going in a few months! cant wait!

The room was fairly nice. The first night we about froze to death. The air conditioner was broken and they had to replace the box that controls it the next day. The first day we had problems getting towels. We went down to the lobby, they said they would bring them up. We called an hour later, they again said they would send them up. We went down to the lobby 3 hours later and they said they came to the room and we did not answer. Not possible! We were not in the shower, we had no towels. This seemed to be the norm for our entire stay. We would call they said they would do something... which they didn't do. On our last night, the fire alarm started going off and we called the lobby/desk about 6 pm. They didn't have anyone to look at it. After about 3 calls I stressed we were not putting up with it, we had a long drive home and needed sleep. At 10;30 pm the girl working the desk finally agreed to look at it. We figured it might be a battery. Her answer was to come get a battery from her and put it in. We told her we did not work there. It was however an electric smoke detector and we could not fix. She finally said she would give us 2 rooms... we were in a suite. It seemed to stop and I fell asleep only to awake after midnight. The 2 older women in our party could not hear it in their room. I took the two kids and took another room, leaving the older women. We got up at 7am, and loaded the car and checked out by 8am. They gave us a receipt for the agreed upon amount and another receipt showing the other room was FREE. A month later our credit card was charged 149.99 extra, twice and 18.12 for some other charge over and above the 783.00 for the other room for 4 days... I can't get anywhere with the office personell... they will check on it and get back to us, blah blah. They haven't called back. Today the girl said it shows that we were charged 149.99 fee for checking out of both of the rooms after 1pm. It was 8am or before. I had a horrible experience, although the room was nice and clean and the location was good. The staff was all young and hung out in the parking lot smoking most of the time.

We were able to book this hotel at the last minute and the price was high, $190/nt., but not uncommon for race weekend. We were very pleased though with this hotel. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a kitchenette and it was quite new looking and clean and the maid service was very good. All of the rooms face the ocean and the pool was nice and very easy access to the beach. The only downside I would have to say is the continental breakfast as the coffee was very weak and the selection was even less than one would expect for a continental breakfast.
