Wow, This place looks great.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/14/09
Went out there this weekend for mothers day, and it was just perfect. Sunny and right on the beach! We have been going out there for about ten years, and this year to our surprise they redid the whole outside of the place. It is really beautiful with everything. I stayed in a poolside unit with an ocean view (unit 12). It was really nice inside, it had two flat panel T.V's and it seems like everything was new inside. I can tell you that I will be staying this fall for the Hampton Film Festival, which I was told will be packed this year. Can't wait.

Disgusting, will never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/18/08
Mildew, moldy smells, stains on furniture lousy cleaning staff for the astronomical amount of 400.00+ a night? Forget this place and move onto a cleaner resort. Not convenient to eat anything,.. you can't get anything delivered for take out and nothing is within walking distance.

Never, Again , Disgusting and Smelly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/07
I have stayed here for the last few summers. Each year it gets more expensive ( it's now astronomic )but the place gets dirtier, less well kept and smellier! Our room ( Rapallo Upper ) had a huge hole in the patio deck. It took me calling the front desk and resort manager for 4 days ( we were staying 8 days ) to finally come and actually fix the sizeable hole in the deck. The hole was big enough for your foot to go through. This place smells strongly of mildew , the ac's have musty smells coming out of them. When we complained , they moved us to another room that had the same problem. We used air freshners, soap etc,, it still stunk. The beach has had more and more litter on it every year which is a shame. It used to be pristine. Cleaning staff is the worst. I paid for an extra cleaning and they left 1 clean towel and never vacummed or dusted. The only reason we returned is because the kids like the pool. Other than that, I wouldn't bother. For $3,500 a week for a one small bedroom we could go to Hawaii and stay in a real luxury resort instead.

The Sea Crest Resort, Amagansett NY
By Ben, 12/12/05
I really think this a family style place! It is convienient to East Hampton and where I like to go for breakfeast, The Amagabsett Farm Stand! The only bad thing it's not so clean and it's not luxury. Totally go here!

Never again!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/05
You do not get what you pay for luxury wise. Rooms look much bigger on the internet. Had reserved a two bedroom pool view suite. We were on top of each other and the furniture was just a disgrace with stains (looked like a cheap hotel) We actually had to upgrade, another $800 to get a decent size suite. Not convient for kids. Everything is about 10 minutes away by car. No snacks/food any where in the resort. Unable to go for long walks with a stroller because Montauk Highway is pretty busy. Although, I must say that the beach was just simply beautiful!!!!
