Maple Leaf Inn, Lake Placid

We have been going to the Maple Leaf Inn for 10 years now, we visit in the winter for skiing packages and in the summer for vacation. We enjoy the room, all the amenities, the heated pool in the summer, and mostly our hosts, Rod and Barb. They keep the place up to date, they treat their guests as friends and there has never been a problem that could not be resolved. We used to come here even before we had kids, and stayed in a regular room. Now that our family has grown, we are staying in room # 1, which has a bedroom, living room and kitchen, so at night after the kids go to sleep, we can have some adult time. Everything is so neat and clean, the towels and the linnen always smell so good and clean, we just could not find this service anywhere else. We would rate this place 10 stars if we could, this is the BEST PLACE TO STAY!

Not particularly clean, with no real charm. If you spend most of your time away from your motel then it is ok. If you spend time in the room, then think twice about this motel.

We stayed at the Maple Leaf in October and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The outdoor heated pool was a treat with the warm weather we had in October. The locaton was great just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants, but far enough off main street away from the noise. We will be back to our home away from home.

What a wonderful place to stay. The service was exceptional. The room we stayed in was very clean and newly remodeled. The property was very well maintained and the flowers were beautiful. They have a heated inground swimming pool that was very refreshing. I will definatly stay at The MAPLE LEAF on my next trip to Lake Placid.
