Great service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/06/07
We stayed here while visiting the FDR house and it was great. Though it was far from restaurants, it was near FDR's home. The desk staff was nice and the rooms seemed newly renovated. Overall it was a great hotel.

Quality Inn these days.
By Berg, 08/30/06
You know, if I had to sum up my stay in one word it would be DAMP. The room was musty, the carpet and ceiling both showed mold. When I got home all of my clothes had a wet smell to them. The bed was nice, the shower was new and had great pressure, but the room was small. The location was key, and one of the only reasons I would ever return, if you're visiting the Cullinary Institute of America, this is the closest place to stay. For $89-95 a night, it might be the best deal town as well!

Two Story Hotel with No Elevators!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/25/06
The staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean. The continental breakfast was, not the best, but the food was not stale. I gave an average rating instead of a higher one because of the very steep 2nd floor stairs. As I have severe arthritis, there was no way that I could have managed that challenge. The staff was helpful and changed me to a first floor room the following day.

It is now a Quality Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/06
It is definately a nice place. It may have been a Super 8 at some point, but it is now a Quality Inn. It seems to have been totally rnofated inside and out. The rooms are in excellent condition with the exception a small peeling spot in the center of the ceiling in our bathroom. it has a tiny excercise room, and you're on your own for food. Overall, you won't be disapointed. I would definately return.

Golden Lion is better
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/17/05
The bathtub was cracked - the crack was covered with a sheet of plastic. Continental breakfast mediocre. Place is noisy. Mattress very comfortable, towels & pillows wouldn't sell at KMart.
