It's all about relaxing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/08
This is our 3rd year at the Crow's Nest. We always request a first floor room so we can be right near the boardwalk, sand and sea. We spend much of our time on the premises. The room is always clean due to the great staff and has all we need for the week. The time we have at the Crow's Nest is relaxing because the inn keeper does a fantastic job to ensure it. I have read the negative reviews, but heck, I want Mary Jo to keep the other guests and their boisterous children in line. Nothing wrecks my peaceful time more than when other guests are being loud, running on the boardwalk or the stomping instead of walking on the 2nd floor. It’s not a house you’re renting, but a room, so behave and she’ll leave you alone! As for us, we’ll be going again next year.

Miserable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/08
The location is amazing and the rooms are nice. Unortunately, the Inn Keeper is a rude, unkind person and made us feel like we were being watched at all times. We never felt comfortable or at rest thanks to Mary Jo. I will never return to this place and neither will the rest of my friends who were treated poorly by this women.

Great place to stay!! Right on the beach and great skyline views of P-town. Just thinking about Crows Nest makes me want to visit for a long week-end stay.

Beautiful Place- Customer relations?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/07
The pro's: A perfect relaxing, picturesque and well maintained property. The managers staff is well trained and friendly. Rooms are kept perfectly clean, and the locations views and amenities are perfect for someone looking to relax. I am not quite sure if the manager Mary Jo is owner or Employee but the operations side of the business is run like clockwork. Being in the service industry I was very happy with that aspect. The Cons: The Customer relations side was as pathetic as it gets. As a manager I have never seen someone as inept at dealing with vacationers as the manager of this resort, and i guess if she is the owner it is her game so be it. But if the owners are interested in building and maintaining a loyal client base she should be kept in a closet. I have never seen so many guests being treated as intruders rather then guests, and I noticed she doesnt dicriminate 5years old to 65 years old. I found myself not feeling like a guest of the hotel but intruding and would not come back. I think with a higher quality manager on the cusomter side this would be 5 star all day long. Its too bad!

On Lookers, All Night
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/07/07
We stayed at the Crows_Nest for a week. The Bottom Unit was very nice. The day that we arrived I was told that I was too early and was sent on my way. RUDE During the week my family and I wear watched each day by the live in care taker. It appeared that she was counting the amount of family members that I had, and when my daughter came to visit for a night I was questioned and charged an additional fee. At night we had other vacationers looking into our unit, while they were smoking outside. The place is nice, and it is expensive, but there was too much checking up. You go on Va-Ca to relax, we did not have that feeling at all.

Rude
By Kate, 08/11/06
I called one morning (around 7:45 a.m.), which I did not think was extremely early to see if this place was pet friendly. The lady abruptly said no. I asked her if she knew of any place that might accept pets and she answered "it's 7:45 a.m., its way to early for a phone call" and proceeded to hang up on me. Can't imagine how they would treat their guests if they had an emergency during the night. Found this persons behavior very unusual compared to any one else I have dealt with on the Cape.

The Cottages
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/21/06
Everything that has been said about the crows nest resort can be amplified X 2 with respect to the cottages that are also available. We stayed at the East Cottage and the accommodations were great. The rooms are clean and the furniture is comfortable and looks new. The appliances worked as advertised and the provided utensils and cookery were clean and appeared as though they were well cared for by previous guests. Air-conditioning was plentiful and quiet The entire property was clean and well maintained. The owner runs a first class establishment and truly understands the meaning of customer service. We will be back again and again

The fireplace was great on cold nights!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/05
We visited the Crow's Nest in late October...unfortunately in the middle of a nor'easter, and still managed to have a great time! The immaculate accommodations, great location on Cape Cod Bay and the fireplace on blustery evenings were all memorable. Just what we needed for some R & R! We'll be back!
